I had an "experience" today w/them that I never had before & because of it I wouldnt give them a dime in ever again! #1 the light-skinned "manager" that I spoke w/ had the nerve to tell me shes been there 16years...I believe I have been coming longer than shes been there but I could be wrong...never the less told me she knows ALL the "regulars" by face & that in all my years of coming..(@least1x per year.. ) she didnt recognize me! #2 I know I've spent racks w/them on top of like 100 referals for others to go to them & I felt it was less than tasteful for her to act like ANY client let alone me didnt matter...when it should. Lastly the issue even started because I called them on Sunday & then Mo day evening to confirm an appointment for 9am this morning...which she admitted to speaking to me...yet denies I was specific about "Spring" twist. So when I arrived @ 8:41am they told me .."oh shes coming" I sat there until 9:38 she admitedly arrived @ 10 & told me I was "impatient"...& that @ now 3:30 pm she couldnt do it...she has kids & a life! I asked if I get another style...that I didnt want mind you but have an " african" themed event for the weekend which requires a braided style...would they take off my 180 pruce since shes the ONLY one in the shop who can do spring twist...Im writing the appropriate review because obviously her ATTITUDE was f#&% you..(towards me) & my situation / dilemma!! If you want to be treated like cattle & as if your TIME/ENERGY/ MOST OF ALL MONEY doesn't mean a thing...by all means keep going here! Plus they use HORRIBLE cheap hair!!!! I would really give less than 1 star...but...

Before they began, I told them what I wanted. I did not want it too tight, I wanted 3 colors and 2 were just to highlight the back. 1 lady had to leave to start on someone else's hair that came in. No problem, this is common. The other lady was so busy talking on her phone that she did not pay attention to what I asked for. I had to tell her several times she was braiding too tight. When she got to the top I realized she hadn't used 1 of the colors. I made her aware of it and at that time she stated she was going to use it in the top, when I clearly stated in the beginning, I wanted it in the back. I told her, I didn't want it in the top and she replied she could take some of the braids in the back out in order to fix it. By this time I'm beyond irritated and just said nevermind.

I will not be returning to this Braid Shop. If I am going to pay $160 to get my hair done, I want it done right and I want what I ask for. Not only that, they didn't set themselves apart from the other braid shops. You walk in, they are all either speaking to eachother or on their phones and not engaging their customers. They do not take into consideration hair type when braiding and they give you what they want and not what...

I Will NEVER go Back... I had gone been going for a year and the service was great, but the last time I went to get singles they left my natural hair out at the ends. I went back in explaining to them that I need it braided completely to the end of my hair, and they said it cost extra. They never charged me to do it before it was never an issue and I never asked them to do it before they always braided my natural hair fully. Even when they saw how much I spent before was always the same they were still really rude, and were talking to each other in their native language. Then the woman told me to come to her, so I thought she was going to braid it. But she started pully different strands of braids roughly where I thought she was about to yank them out. Then she said this isn't your real hair, so I showed her 20 braids where my real hair was sticking out. Again she starts yanking on the braids, to the point where I wanted to cry from the pain. I ended up not letting her braid the rest, because she was being really rough and talking to the others in her native language. VERY RUDE!!! They have no concern for customer happiness, bad customer service. They treat their returning...
