Young man helped us today and the service was not at all what we expected. This was the first “fitting” and “suit experience” for my fiancé and we came in with high expectations, excited for him to get started with his wedding suit process and were quickly disappointed . Prior to our appointment my fiancé received a phone call with a knowledgeable employee preparing him for the appointment and giving tips on what information to provide the day of his appointment, this gave us high hopes. As soon as we arrived we let the young man know we had an appointment, he asked for the occasion, excitedly we told him our wedding and he stared at us with a blank look on his face, then proceeded with “ok so what can i help you with” (he clearly did not get any of the information provided over the phone and/or on the website). We were obviously there to find a suit. I as the fiancée had to prompt him several times to get anything out of him such as “can u show us colors?” “can he try it on” “can you measure him”. When I wasn’t speaking, the three of us were awkwardly silently staring at each-other. He had no suggestions, no initiative, was very reserved and not at all attentive to the occasion. Our appointment lasted a total of 5 minutes due to his lack of enthusiasm, communication, and knowledge. He literally showed us 2 options, stayed quiet, measured him (only at my request) and then we left because he completely failed his salesman assignment. We left the store really dissatisfied and disappointed with the service. We were excited to check one thing off our wedding to do-list and unfortunately Men’s Wearhouse did not meet our very simple standards. As soon as I entered the store I was warmly greeted by a gentleman. I was mainly helped by Teresa W. She helped me pick out the right pocket square color when I was debating between a charcoal and a pure black one for my Burgundy suit. I told her I was planning to buy both and return one later to see which one matches my outfit.

She asked me what shirt I was planning on wearing and she then told me to go with the black pocket-square because I am going to wear a black shirt and no tie. She saved me a trip from wasting my time to return the second one I was planning to buy. She then showed me how the charcoal pocket square would only work with the charcoal shirt with no tie.

On top of helping me pick the right pocket square, she asked me if I wanted my pocket square pressed and folded. I did not expect that and thought that would have been extra. She said it's complementary. I was delighted. She suggested a three fold press since the event is a wedding.

While waiting for Teresa to prepare my pocket square, the other associates were all friendly and asked if I need assistance or had any questions.

When Teresa came back preparing my pocket square, she showed me the correct length to put it in my suit. We had a great talk during checkout also.

I did not expect this wonderful customer service. I thought it was going to be a quick in and out. I was served well and educated better on how to match my accessories. I will be back if I ever need to get formal wear and hope to meet Teresa! Thank you Teresa for your...
