Don’t be a minority and come here, you get treated like trash. Rushed out!!
How is it that I check in for two things bothering me, it’s noted in my registration, Dr. Kwun discusses it with me, but no notes of what was discussed. Aaron in ER rude! Instead of trying to help he told me to see my doc or come back and be seen for the same thing, when I asked for the number to file a complaint he just transfers me to a number where you can’t leave a voicemail, now I drive all the way here, the lady at check in sees what I checked in for yesterday but doesn’t know why it isn’t noted either so she goes to ask for help and who comes out? Mr. Aaron who told me to take ibuprofen or be seen again, so here I am being seen again and they’re probably going to make me wait long on purpose. My first experience was a horrible experience!!!
-Update been almost 20 minutes since they told me they had no rooms available and sat me back in the waiting room after getting my vitals, but all the people who they took back after me have not been brought back up to the waiting room to wait like I am and I’m in pain.
Another update, another person taken back to a room who checked in way after me who’s been in the waiting room on her phone laughing showing no signs of pain and yet I’ve been waiting for an hour. No update or anything, I feel I am being discriminated against and treated this way because Aaron is penalizing me for our discussion. Mind you I’ve told them my pain is a 8/10. Over an hour wait and I’ve watched 3 people who came over 30 minutes after me get called back into a room. Also, my blood pressure was high and the RN said...
Read moreFront desk staff was very rude I was never informed of the one person and no ins and outs policy. The restroom in the ER says patient only so I went out to the lobby to use the restroom but it was extremely dirty so I told the front desk and asked if there was another one or if someone could clean it. The worker seemed really annoyed and said no, it will be a while. So I went outside to look for a restroom. When I returned the same worker informed me In a rather rude tone I wasn’t allowed in and out because I already left. I told her I wasn’t aware of the rule and she remarked “are you going to respect the hospitals policy” Surly I would of if I was informed ahead of time of the policy so I could of prepared better. If these policy’s are in place why didn’t any of the 3 workers I interacted with tell me about it when we arrived? The worker acted like I should of known better and was being extremely rude. I also work in heath care and was appalled by how the staff talks to you. When people are at the emergency they are likely in pain or stressed because their family member is in pain. Healthcare works should be aware of this and treat patients with patience and respect as they navigate these tough times. Very disorganized policies at first I was told only one person is allowed as a visitor by one staff at the front desk. My family member waiting in the lobby saw a pair of visitors being let in. So he asked another worker about the visitor policy’s and they told him multiple...

Our 11 day old infant had a high fever and we took him to this ER. It was a tumultuous experience for both my wife and I. The doctor and the nurses seemed very incompetent in their jobs. This is the list of things they did: they poked the infant on right hand first for IV but they couldn't get to the veins properly and so they poked him on the other hand as well (twice!!) they wanted to draw blood for blood test from his arm. They did the same again!! HE IS BARELY 11 DAYS OLD!! they wanted his spinal tap which we initially didn't agree but they scared us enough that we gave in. But the doctor pierced him in his back THRICE but couldn't get the spinal fluid!! HORRIBLE!! plus the doctor said his preliminary urine tests were yucky (meaning he has bacteria infection of some sort) when he didn't have any. I feel like these guys were completely incompetent. We both were totally broken down! They then transferred us to the Swedish at first hill (to the pediatric center) and we had a better experience there. The doctor there said his results look totally normal but since the antibiotics were started already in the ER, they had to keep it going! My infant now has an upset stomach with all the antibiotics in his little belly!!
In summary, as I said earlier, don't ever go...
