Shady!! Brought in my like new tablet to see if they could remove password my son put on. Was little skeptical because the way he presented himself and looks of store. āOh sure we can remove no problem, $30 bucks take me 2 daysā. My tablet is secure in original box, he even opens to see if he had charger for it. Yes I do no problem. Like I said had witnesses. I donāt even live in Jackson didnāt come back until about 5 days to give him time. Couldnāt understand why he hadnāt called me. Thinking getting my tablet back and running š® First the employee couldnāt find, so he calls manager-owner whoever he puts me on phone. āSorry mam your battery exploded.ā Iām like ok why didnāt you call me? He said he did. No he did not!! I Have voicemail & caller Iād. And I hadnāt even opened to look at my tablet yet. So he proceeded to tell me he could replace battery too. I was like umm no I just want my tablet. He hangs up I open my tablet box which protects it very well, to find my damaged tablet. š”š Opened in front of employee, he said Iām sorry I know nothing I just work here. I want manager back on phone he wouldnāt call. I asked for his phone number he said I canāt give you that call tomorrow he will be here. So I did, and letās just say wasnāt very pleasant. Of course Iām upset heās trying to tell me I brought in a broken tablet to fix password, they didnāt damage it. The battery did that to it. No burnt smell what so ever. Like really guy???? Just unbelievable!! He said some unkind words I just hung up because he already made it clear he wasnāt gonna make it right with me. Tried to tell me I came in alone, that I had no witnesses ( and I did). My loss but I will share on all my social mediaās and my 2000 gamers & phone peeps. And now Iām reading all these bad reviews WOW! Iām also gonna try call better business bureau and whoever else. Any suggestions. This guy is a joke, and yes should not be in business. Hope helps anyone else. Karma sucks thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a lot to say about this place so bear with me. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for buying used consoles. These people get little to no business ever and it shows. Prices are terrible. When you walk in here, no greetings at all. Donāt get me wrong, they have some cool stuff, but not anything worth buying for the prices they have and the condition they are in. I can guarantee they donāt test their consoles at all, they look it up on a price finder and sell it for the highest price they can. I have multiple friends who have bought either faulty or counterfeit items. The consoles I have seen are in terrible condition for the prices they put on them. I saw a limited edition PSP for $150 and I swear it would fall apart as soon as you touched it, plastic was super nasty yellowish brown as well. Get the same thing on ebay for $80. This is the same with many more items they have for sale.
The employees are your usual egotistical IT nerds who scoff at anything you say and they donāt agree with. There is no shortage of sarcastic remarks towards you either. I strongly recommend inspecting anything you are looking to buy throughly - especially make sure it has not been taken apart before. However, if you do inspect anything before buying, prepare to be met with sarcasm and impatient assholes whimpering in your ear about how long youāre taking.
They have no passion for this place, do not go here. Idk if google allows this, but there is a much much much better game&collectibles store on the east side of jackson and the prices are actually reasonable and items are in great condition. TLDR; Prices suck, items they sell suck, owners are rude, donāt fall for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBUYER BEWARE. THIS STORE KNOWINGLY SELLS BOOTLEG GAMES FOR REAL MARKET PRICE. I am personally familiar with two instances of questionable/illegal practices in this shop. One is selling an NES homebrew cart of God of War for over $50. I'll let that one slide. Let's chalk that down to ignorance. However, I collect across the state for n64, as I am try to complete the collection. I look in this store and noticed that they had a bootleg Super Smash Bros. cart and were selling it for $60 (about $10 more than youd pay for a real cart). I told them they had one, and explained why this was case, pointing out the signs. Mind you, it was extremely obvious. They take it out, and thank me. 2 weeks later I come in and see the exact same cart, selling for the exact same price. I tell the guy, this time a different one, that it's fake. This time a touch annoyed, of course They take it out and thank me again. Then 2 weeks later again, about a week ago, I come in to see it once again, same price. I tell the employee, a different one again, that I am getting tired of seeing that bootleg in there being passed off as a real cart. Its illegal. The employee told me he understands, and that MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE BOUGHT IT AND TAKEN IT BACK, BUT THE OWNER CONTINUES TO SELL IT. I warn ANYBODY from buying or selling here, and this place seriously needs to be closed down. Any place selling bootleg games for market prices hoping to scam someone who doesnt know any better should be...
