The customer service my mom and I experienced here today was absolutely insane. I went to the front to ask if there was a large cart for two mirrors. The man standing there (doing nothing but saying hi to customers) said we only have one size (even though they have larger utility carts) and told me someone in the mirror section could help. I went back there and no one to be found. My mom went up front to ask someone else if they could help and they said they would send someone. 15 minutes and no one came. So we lugged these HUGE mirrors up front and a woman came and took one and had an attitude about it and didn’t say a word. When we had then checked out and tried to get help taking them out, the man up front watched us struggle trying to carry them out and said ok you got it. Read moreI love Home Goods stores, but was so disappointed. We had a break between appointments and stopped for a visit. I had a few items in my cart (3) and allowed an elderly woman to go ahead of me as I browsed the items in the checkout area. She and I waited patiently for about 6-7 minutes while two clerks checked out the people already at the counter. As we waited, the line grew to 8 people behind me while one checker socialized and the other started processing returns. By about 15 minutes, the line continued to grow and finally another checker walked up and called the lady in front of me, but then sent her to the other who had FINALLY finished. I came in just browsing, but Jennie helped me completely pull my space together. She found me the perfect rug brought it down by herself, rolled it up, and even took it to the front for me. Then she helped me choose a gorgeous mirror that tied everything together and brought that up too.
The whole time, she made me feel like I was shopping with a best friend, stylish, honest, and totally on my side.
She also explained the store credit card clearly and casually. No pressure, just good info. I would’ve signed up if I wasn’t in the middle of buying a house.
