Five Stars Across the Board! Our fun, memorable evening started with a big glass of Pinot for my wife and a rockin’ good Tito’s martini for me, served just the way I like, in a frosted martini glass with delicious blue cheese stuffed olives. Helping us take advantage of the last few minutes of happy hour our server kindly punched in an order of the Whipped Burrata (served with a French baguette and arugula pesto). It was delicious and hit the spot! So did the perfectly seared bacon-wrapped scallops that we ordered next. Entrees were not an easy decision, we could have both been happy with any of the tantalizing choices. My wife and I exchanged our usual loving banter of “no you go first” before she finally caved and chose the lamb lollipops w/ bacon jam and goat cheese (from the appetizer menu:) and I went to the other side of the planet and ordered the sashimi with coconut sticky rice. The two of us both enjoyed the Thai chili Brussels sprout as a side, which never had a chance —absolutely delicious! (and I’m not a sprout guy). My wife raved about the lamb and was kind enough to share a bite with me. Incredible! (The bite, not the fact that she shared) My Yellow Fin Sashimi plate was a work of art and I savored every fantastic bite. Our eleven year old, who we forgot was with us, happily devoured his chicken fingers and shoestring fries. This kid, an international chicken critic, gave it the highest marks, a mouthful thumbs as he rubbed shoulders with his mother. The three of us shared the brownie a la mode for dessert and almost lost consciousness it was so good! I’d be remiss if I didn’t give major props to our server, he was an absolute rockstar in every way possible and made our evening at SoNapa Grille a fun memorable one. Although this restaurant has a kids’ menu for the “Little Grapes”, I’d recommend it more for date night or a small dinner party, but we were grateful for the restaurant’s kid friendly options. Cheers to everyone at SoNapa Grille for making our night a great one. We can’t wait...
Read moreIt was a last minute found. We were impressed by SoNapa Grille from our last minute reservation for 2, to having a wonderful meal and dining experience. We were lucky they were able to accommodate us on a busy Friday afternoon. We were greeted by 2 young beautiful ladies and they even seated us in a nice booth inside the Sonoma And Napa Winery inspired room with Cork covered ceilings and Wine Barrels decor… Our beautiful server Cami greeted us with refreshing bottle of water to start… we started our meal with the soup of the day: Creamy Brie and mushroom soup, the warm comforting taste of the Brie and mushrooms just perfect pair for our palettes, so creamy and delicious. My husband ordered Highway "29's" Famous Pork Chop (gfo) and finished it to the bone. He even commented the perfect pork chop he had tasted so far and the tenderness just so perfect… I ordered the Short Rib and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli. It’s a Short Rib, mushroom ravioli, truffle cream sauce, parmesan cheese, garlic. What an amazing taste: so creamy, tender and delicious, the short ribs are tender and compliments the mushroom sauce…we ended our meal with the pineapple upside down cake with vanilla ice cream… it was so delicious… leaving a sweet taste in our mouth… a must try restaurant for food and wine lovers and of course the perfect ambiance…You don’t have to go to Northern California to...

My wife and I always sit at the bar for “date nite” and we’re fortunate to have Savannah along with others that seamlessly catered to patrons needs. Savannah resonated a bubbly personality that showed that she loves her work environment and was simply the best with recommendations and our dining experience.
Couple things that stood out for us—
-6 employees inclusive of Proprietor were suddenly by the front door searching..for a FL lizard that had made its way in while patrons entered (attention to detail illustrated and team philosophy). It happens, but this was strong solution while not disrupting diners.
Obviously, when people are happy while they are providing service that they are their own but definitely reflects Mgmt. Shout out to Joe Bates (COO) as he was more than engaging when we inquired about “the lizard” and the gathering of employees- the knowledge and source of having Server Savannah working with him for many years and his personal touch with stating we would be visiting their Ormond Beach location in a few weeks. This guy gets it for what needs to be provided and has a solid staff marching.
great happy hour, food, cocktails and wine!
-our favorite was the peeps working here to make the experience one to write about… please join Savannah at the bar but save me a...
