I was so surprised to see this place take the place of the old Jason's Deli, and even more shocked when I walked inside. Wow! What a total transformation they did, it really is a warm and cozy spot now. Before writing this review I had the pleasure of eating there twice, once for brunch and once for lunch. Both times I really felt like I loved each time. I think at the beaches everyone loves a great brunch or breakfast place, there seems like there are never enough great places, and I feel like this place is going to be a hit at the beach for sure. The menu has a lot to choose from so you won't be disappointed there. For brunch I wasn't feeling that hungry so I ordered a side waffle and a side a bacon. Yeaaahhh....the waffles are huge and so, so yummy. I love to eat a bite of sweet waffle and then have a bite of salty, savory bacon....ohhh my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The hubs had the Southwest Scrambler and it was oh delicious!!! I am eager to return starving and try their Chicken and Waffles, Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Blackstone Benedict and their Shrimp & Grits. Moving on the their lunch. My Mum and I went their for lunch and I had a sandwich that was to die for. I think it will be hard to try anything else for lunch because it was THAT good, seriously. Ok.....(drum roll please)...... it was The B.L.A.S.T and I had it with the fried green tomatoes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The only thing that could have made that sandwich better is if it had goat cheese on it, but that is really just because I think goat cheese should be on everything, LOL. Anyway, I seriously recommend that sandwich! Just writing this review I am craving that sandwich and a waffle, that is some serious fat kid status. This is a place you are going to want to...
Read moreOn Friday morning, my husband had planned to take me out for breakfast, and apparently, he had already found this restaurant, which seemed really good to him. When we arrived, everything seemed fine: the waiter’s service was friendly, and first impressions always matter. He took our order, starting with the drinks, and since I was with my young kids, I also ordered my son’s breakfast. His meal arrived quickly, which was a nice touch.
However, things changed after that. Time passed, and our breakfast didn’t arrive. More people started arriving, and we noticed they were being served while we, who had arrived first, were still waiting. We asked another waitress, who seemed to be in charge, and she told us our order was coming. However, over an hour passed (about 1 hour and 10 minutes) and we still hadn’t received our breakfast. Finally, we decided to leave. My husband asked for the bill to pay for only my son's breakfast and the drinks, and the manager suggested we just leave it. Even though my husband insisted, no solution was offered.
This situation was a bit disappointing 😞, as we were excited for breakfast. I believe that instead of leaving us waiting without an explanation, a small gesture or clarification would have been helpful. It's important that waiting times are managed more efficiently ⏱️, as customers' time is valuable. We hope this situation can be improved and that these details will be considered in...
Read moreWe usually go to the Jax Beach location. We have been going there for years. I also bring clients to this location when they are in town. Today is my birthday and had a taste for beignets. My family and I went to the restaurant and were seated. Customer service was okay until we had to send the beignets back because there was a very long blond hair draped across the food.. We sent the food back by way of another server (because we did not see ours) our server never returned to acknowledge anything until coming back with 4 replacement Beignets. I am not sure of the problem but the guy next to us had customer service issues as well. Admittedly, I finished the Beignets …but didn’t have the stomach to eat anything else. When I asked the server about why we were charged in full, why there was no acknowledgment of (sorry for the hair at-least).. With a sarcastic tone she stated “you air them”.. Yes, Marissa you are correct but at-least acknowledge the error with some type of customer service.. I stated, today was supposed to be a great birthday break.. Only to be shot down with more Marissa sarcasm. She said “all you have to do is sign the check and you can leave” followed by “hope you have a good birthday”.. with a sarcastic tone. I ate the Beignets but the attitude of my server was awful.. This is not the standard we are used to with your restaurant.. Your prices are too expensive for fast...
