One of the best looking buildings in the entire downtown Jacksonville skyline. A nice large facility with open space inside and out. Extra amenities like the cafeteria and Business Center. It's not always fun to have to go to court or conduct legal business, but at least this modern facility will make it easier to do.

Went to the courthouse responding to a petition. In the paperwork from the judge it clearly orders that you have two options, respond to the petition at the courthouse or mail your response in. I chose to respond to the courthouse to make sure my response was delivered with time and appropriately. I was met at the front door by a short African American police officer covering his name tag while holding the collar of his bulletproof vest. He seemed strangely aggravated & short with each person trying to gain access to the courthouse. The police officer told me there was "limited access to the courthouse" and I had to email my responce. I explained to him emailing is not an option, or what the paperwork from the judge so ordered. He responded that I need to call the department from where the petition originated. I did that, while standing in the rain, that department had no earthly understanding of why I wasn't allowed to deliver my response or why he didnt do it for me? I walked in expecting another argument, instead I'm allowed access, walk through the metal detector and allowed to drop my response to petition in the response box. Once I got beyond the uniformed police everybody was very nice, cordial and friendly. I walked outside as my neighbor pulls up in front of the courthouse responding to the same petition. I called her letting her know what to expect when she went to the front door, and what I did to get around the silliness. She's an American with disabilities "wheelchair". She Wheels herself to the front door, in the rain, same short angry officer will not allow her to gain access & will not take the paperwork to deposit in the petition response box. I called the front desk spoke to Sergeant Thomas. Sergeant Thomas was very professional in his cival service, apologized for his employees lackadaisical behavior to cival service and promised he would educate the short angry officer immediately. My neighbor wheeled herself back to the front door, the same short angry police officer possibly more unhappy with his recent education, rudely said "I hear you got something for me". She gave him the paperwork, & crisis was averted. Ladies and Gentlemen It seems very unfortunate when a rogue civil servant chooses not to allow a judge's orders to be followed. Forgetting the oath to civil service, making up rules & forgetting common decency to your fellow human will not be permitted. Your behavior will not be allowed unknown short angry African-American police officer that chooses to cover his name tag. I wouldn't be surprised if you working the front door of the courthouse is in response to a disciplinary action, & covering your name tag is possibly lack of respect for the name on that name tag of honor. WE THE PEOPLE have placed you on notice. Hang your head in shame as you are not respected. We will keep our eye on you.

SERGEANT THOMAS thank you again for your excellence in service. Your conflict resolution & honor to those you serve is to be...

I am being actively targeted & discriminated against for being different. I'm an autistic military veteran and wanted to speak to the security's direct floor manager this morning. I was being chastised/verbally abused & threatened with arrest every step of the way today at 8 AM by 2 cops in particular. The left lane female security guard feigned alarm by a trinket key-fob on my key-ring. They told me to go bury it in the ground outside because I take public transportation, I refused because the whole situation seemed orchestrated. For the past 6 months+ I had been bringing in my keys exactly how they are every week without issue. I asked to speak to the manager about their regulations and I was railroaded at every turn. I was lied to multiple times. Instead of having me stay inside & wait on a manager law enforcement gave me a ultimatum of imprisonment. The female security alerted JSO instead of her manager, putting me in danger (escalating and abusing her authority). The officer whom I was directed to speak to told me I couldn't bring in the trinket key-fob & that I needed to bury it outside. I refused because of the clear procedural obstruction. He then started to tell me to leave echoed by other officers/security as if I was a terrorist. However in contrast this same officer(Brown) has been making inappropriate advances toward me for months, the same officer has asked if I was 15 and made me feel uncomfortable with questions like, "How do you not like being touched, what if your husband wants to touch you?". I was cursed out, mocked, bullied, humiliated, brow beat, gaslighted, and verbally abused for simply saying I was a veteran and I served my country just like they are serving and I was staying inside to speak to the proper management. Why hang up an American flag outside of the courthouse in honor of veterans day if you have no actual integrity? Thugs in uniform, I'm sick & tired of them. I am a veteran with an invisible disability not trash like...

The clerk of the court is extremely screwed up. Florida statute 55.141 allows you to pay a judgment anytime prior to execution. The clerk will not let me pay the judgment!!! why should someone have to hire an attorney to open the case and file a motion and wait for a hearing when they want to pay the judgment. The judgment is the order. In my case, there is no execution because Fidus roofing never sent the judgment or the Writ of Execution to the sheriff. The reason is Fidus does not want me to pay the judgment. They want to keep earning interest on it over $300 a month so I’m trying to pay the judgment in full even though it was a fraudulent judgment based upon a defective lien, they never foreclose, but they’re threatening me with foreclosure and keeping the lawsuit open so I went to the clerk to pay the judgment under 55.141 and the clerk refused to take my money and told me that I had to have an order from the court. The judge has always been friendly with Fidus roofing and his attorney Christopher Harris. She denied my motion and now I can’t pay the judgment and I can’t even pay the sheriff and fight us won’t take the money and they’re keeping the Lawsuit open to earn more money and the clerk of the court is helping them. I complained about the judge and she recused herself. But that didn’t help because the next Judge didn’t feel like dealing with my case, and he just denied everything without even looking at it. There is overt discrimination against a Pro Se in Duval. They want you to hire an attorney because there’s an overload of attorneys that need work because they had a law school here so they treat you bad and you lose your case and the attorney gets to earn the attorneys fees. The clerk is wrong. I should be allowed to pay the judgment. I plan on suing the clerk of the court. If you have had this problem, please contact me, maybe we can do a class action. You can Google me to contact me. I am a private investigator. I will post the...
