Please leave this space as an open venue. There are plenty of lots across downtown that are in dire need of development. Erecting a building in this public space that has served as a blank canvas for events since the landing was demolished seems inappropriate. Please put that thing somewhere else, beautify this area, and leave it for special events. The events in this space already occupy the entire footprint. Don't let them change a part of the downtown that is actually doing well to attract citizens with limited capital investment. The area surrounding the stadium needs more improvement and public space as well this influx of outside investment would be better applied to an area that actually needs development instead of selling a public asset that taxpayers...

The Landing was a decent place to go on the weekend to enjoy free live music, have food & drinks...now Duval County is even more boring!!!...For entertainment we have to go OUT OF TOWN for some real fun!!! If I didn't live here this would NOT be a TOP pick for me, because IT'S REALLY NOTHING TO DO!!! Compared other cities, ATLANTA, ORLANDO, MIAMI...I can go on and on but why....it just doesn't compare. STOP BUILDING HOTELS AND BUILD ENTERTAIMENT!!! WE NEED FUN LOCAL THINGS!!!! It's only so much of eating out and shopping we can take!!! THE ONLY ENTERTAINMENT IN DUVAL RESTURANT & SHOPPING!! MIAMI here we come this weekennnnnnnd!!! YAYYYYY its beautiful there!!! Get on board...

It's a big grassy area. It's still dirty and littered with trash like The Landing was, except it's on half grown grass now. As long as we don't do the derp I'm cool. My thought is, why do something that costs so much money by an artist who isn't even living in Jacksonville? Why not get local artists to create something there. We are wealthy beyond our wildest dreams with amazing artists from here or have moved here. If it's derp at least it's Jacksonville's own derp. And why tear down the fountain across the river? That hurt my heart, always fixing things that aren't broke and wasting money...

I miss the old landing but change is happening every where. I say and meditated under some trees in the shade. It was beautiful day. They are seeing up and getting ready for the FLA/GA weekend festivities. But not one of them could tell me who was going to be playing on stage. Amy body out there know? I want to see if it's worth going or not. Not into drunk 21 yr Olds or any drunks for that matter so if the Bands are worth seeing I might go. I enjoyed my morning there ☺

Came here several times since The Landings was demolished. All for events. Yesterday was the bicentennial celebration's. It was fun. Good concerts. Food vendors on site, porta potties available, and fireworks were amazing. If you plan on coming here bring a blanket to sit on, maybe some chairs. And if it's during the day an umbrella 🏖️ for rain/sun. You can also pack your own food and bring it. Kid friendly as my son was running around.

The Landing Park is so different since the actual Landing is gone. Even though it has been removed permanently, this is a spot to take great photos. Also, your family will have a perfect outing of walking. I think noticed there were scooters to ride on as well. So, make a day out at the Landing Park with health and fitness in mind.
