Manager Luke will imply that you are a liar when his staff makes a mistake that costs you 5 in a half hours of driving and $40 in gas. Yesterday my husband called Janesville Dunham's and asked if they had roller skates with 2 wheels in front and the 2 in back because his Autistic daughter can't use roller blades. The employee said "No we don't have any of those, we only have inline skates, I don't know what to tell you man, roller skating is popular and we don't have any of those in stock." So my husband called all around and ended up driving 4 hours round trip from Monroe to Racine. When he gets home we see that Racine gave him size 9 mens for me, but his daughter's pair are right. So my husband calls Luke and asks if we can exchange them for inline skates because the employee said yesterday they don't have old school roller skates in Janesville. So Luke says we can do that but we do have the old styles skates here. My husband says are you kidding me I just drove 4 hours to Racine because your staff yesterday told me you didn't have them. Luke says go ahead and bring them back we can exchange them for the blades, so the whole family drives another 45 mins to Janesville and Luke goes back on what he said wanting full price for the blades and implying that my husband was lying about what his staff said yesterday. Then Luke makes comments like, there's not a wasted 5 hours of customer time button on the register, calls my husband a loud mouth, and states that he didn't "send" us to Racine. Then they push us out the store without an apology about their staff incompetence and with no new skates. I just purchased a firearm there 3 months ago no problems, she didn’t even seem sorry just seemed glad that she didn’t have to do her job!! My wife went in to purchase a pistol and was berated by her about her not being able to by a gun either that this was a straw purchase! First of all I was not denied via my background check so they are just profiling me,second of all my wife is a legal gun owner who avidly shoot’s herself and was making a purchase for herself was also denied her 2nd amendment right to bear arms! During this process both the store manager and the clerk was talking poorly about a customer not being able to reach an item, extremely unprofessional! Finally we get it home set it up and it requires a online activation code to be put in before use. We were not notified that there is a monthly fee to access. Called and asked for the store manager, “Candy” and had a poor attitude and was yelling over us. She was not apologetic one bit or even cared enough to recognize the situation.
