Greatest retail experience I've ever had, and I've worked retail for 10+ years personally!
Lauren (last name unknown) at the Humes Road, Janesville location is a true rock star! My wife and I came in to purchase a crib we saw online, but were having trouble entering in a gift card, so we went to the physical store to get help. Lauren walked us through the purchase, had a technical problem, and apologized for having this process take so long...and having to start over again.
All the while, the phone is ringing, customers are lining up behind is for returns/exchanges, drive up orders are arriving that need delivery, but she stuck by us and made sure we were her priority, delegating tasks and asking for help from her coworkers. She kept her cool, made sure we were beyond 100% satisfied, and if I could have Lauren as a coworker, life would be good!
I've never had anything more then an average experience/interaction at a big box store. This has set the bar so high that I'm going to try to achieve the same for my future customer interactions.
More then 5 star service, that girl deserves a raise!!! ...
Read moreHorrible experience, I preordered video games and I did the buy 2 get one free so I spent 120 dollars. Great saved me 60 bucks everyone loves saving money. But when they ship the preorders they told me they don't qualify for free two day shipping. Which normally wouldn't be a big deal when you preorder games all other businesses have it delivered on the release day but oh no not target, it wont be delivered until a week after release date. Like why do I preorder if it wont show up on time anyway. Worst business practices ever. Edit.5/26/21 So one of the games I preorded was Bio Mutant released 5/25/21 I per-ordered 10/31/18 but when I tried to look up shipping details they do not exist and when I tried contacting Target customer service they told me they do not keep records over 3 years and they do not see I preordered at all and said there is nothing they can do to help. Thanks for stealing from me. Lost my business FOREVER..... Just close your doors for good already everyone knows you guys...
Read moreI would love Target to look at women's clothes selection. It is presently very frumpy with dull colors and poorly made products. Second, why did Target make an app of "Target circle"? It is the least user friendly program out there. I personally feel like your RedCard should subtract discounts from Target circle automatically. I do not scan my phone to find "these secret sales" then scan in each item I bought so I can then "drag out my phone" and produce my findings to the clerk. What does putting your phone number in do?
