I filled out an online application, was contacted by an associate very quickly. After a pleasant discussion he advised me that he was off the next day, when I said I would stop by with the rest of my personal information for the application. Going inside the store i noticed an empty parking lot, I walk inside the showroom and it seemed inviting. I walked to the counter and the gentleman attending looked like a warehouse worker instead of a sales associate. I presented my information that the over the phone salesman had asked for and basically began giving him my details on what I was looking for. At this point I could tell he was new, which he admitted later on. So in the 10 minutes we talking was told that they prefer I buy a sectional because the delivery guys complained about delivering to apartments. Also that I need to buy what's on the floor because customers have been waiting dine September for furniture. . The management closed the doors to their offices as soon as I started speaking. I am very audible because I am a former salesman. All I can muster in this experience is that why did a manager let this guy be up front talking to customers knowing he was so new he would say the most ridiculous statements that allowed me to walk out the door after 10...
