Heard great things about this place, which is why we didn't shop around. Never again will I purchase anything from here. Customer service is a joke. After we found the couch we wanted, I stopped back in multiple times and it was like the salesperson did not want to help us. I specifically went back in when I knew she was working, assuming she got commission so we could get our couch ordered. We ordered this couch 4 months before having a baby. The sectional came in and 1 piece was ordered wrong. We were okay with that and kept the two pieces for the time being. With the lead time of the first order, I assumed that the reordered piece would still be in before the baby came. Come up to my due date and still no couch and no call. AFTER they told me it would come in a month prior. So I felt like I had to harass them with calls just to get an ETA, which kept changing. Come to find out AFTER my baby was born there was a factory fire so the one missing piece took 11+ weeks. When the original order took 7 weeks. We obviously asked for a discount due to the errors on their part and they gave us $300 off, which was a joke considering the terrible customer service and lead time with no communication. I had to come home from the hospital with a 3 seat sectional and turn people away from visiting because we didn't have a place for them to sit. This is why we ordered in January when I was due in MAY.
When the last piece was finally delivered, they "Forgot" they were supposed to deliver in the morning, so we waited all day (and spouse took off work to help me with the dogs, baby and letting the delivery guys into the house), I called around noon and they made it work to get it delivered later that afternoon. Mind you, the delivery guys are great! I then let them know one of our recliners from the original order was not working properly and the springs on one seat seems too squishy for being a brand new couch. They were supposed to come take a look at it the next week, I waited around the house and nobody called or showed up. Its been almost 3 months now and still have not heard from them. He wasnât intimidating you, and you replied with âif you want problems I can cause problemsâ a report was put in today, if they decide to do it or not thatâs on them. Maybe focus a little more on your customer service and respect and taking care of the situation instead of pushing it aside. I have heard of MULTIPLE compliments since this incident, if I would have known then, I wouldnât have gone at all. You gave me a full refund that I didnât request and made it known multiple times, but instead to âfixâ the issue you think getting my money back helps. It helps that I got it back and didnât give it to a company who doesnât care about there customers. But instead found a better price yesterday, and got it delivered yesterday. Updated. They canceled my order due to My review so I guess pretend they are awesome and you wonât get your order canceled the day before delivery. The owner is a mess, belittled me, didnât care he had other customers shopping and kept saying we cut you a full refund but they needed my card info. I didnât want my order canceled, I loved my items excited for them to arrive tomorrow, didnât argue with the girl who sold Me the furniture to get a better deal. I was done, I was done furniture shopping. But now I have to look around again, and all the places I shop will no not to recommend and they can use my experience. Was âchallengedâ to go and find a better deal because I wouldnât find one, donât believe them when they say if you bundled you would save.    Read moreI was shopping for a chair. I went to Slumberland, Comforte Shoppe and then Sikers. The chair I wanted was at Slumberland and Sikers. I had a quote and estimated delivery date around 1/17 from Slumberland. The Sales Lady at at Sikers quoted me a price $200 more and a delivery date months away. When I told her that she proceeded to harshly bad mouth Slumberland. She said they lie all the time to their customers about delivery dates. She said many of Slumberlands customers call them after waiting months after promised delivery dates seeing if they can get it sooner from them. She also stated Slumberland has contacted them asking if they had certain items they cpould buy from them. She said she heard many complaints about Slumberlands customer service. I felt this was all pretty unprofessional. How she was talking made me uncomfortable. I went back to Slumberland and ordered the chair. I was told estimated deliver date was 1/17. If going to be delayed they will contact me. Well they contacted me already. To tell me the delivery date changed. To 12/30. 18 days earlier then estimated. Plus the salesman himself is going to personelly deliver it to me on his day off. I received excellent customer service, excellent price, in a clean and positive enviroment. Sikers lightng was darkish, it was bare in some areas and cluttered in others and encounter with sales lady was very negative. Seemed put out when I asked for quotes.
