Hobby Lobby — Local services in Jefferson City

Well done Haily in the framing department!

I’m a military guy… I grew up in Eldon Missouri… I’m trained to live anywhere in the world. and have, but I always knew I was coming back to Missouri because—not Only my parents are still here—but because of the friendliness and quality of people that we have here compared to everywhere else I’ve lived.

I was reminded of that a couple days ago at the Hobby lobby store in Jefferson City, Missouri Haily “rocked” it!

I had an old Hobby Lobby, framed family photo and I had a new family photo. It had been professionally done by Hobby Lobby past, and I needed to update the photo Although I could’ve done it, I thought I would have Hobby Lobby redo it, so it would be all closed up nicely again.

Haily did it on the spot! Even though I taunted her with “finding some money on the floor”… because I’ve learned before they cannot accept tips…she insisted no tip!

This store Is definitely doing something correctly because a former employee there, Miranda, was the same way. She insisted on no tip. I tried to give the store manager lunch money for Miranda one time and NOPE!!

Miranda is no longer there, but Haily is and she is amazing. Clearly the store has hired some great team members and they’ve trained them well. The store needs to be known for that! I will post something like this on a Google review as well.

First time at Hobby lobby and I was amazed by the tons of painting materials, cool wall hangers, household decorations etc that the store had in stock. Then I went to look for a sewing kit for a mothers day present. As I meandered around the store I picked up a tail in the form of some manager that followed me and stood at the top of every aisle I was in watching me but refused talk to me AT ALL. I mean I was in the store for about 10 minutes or so at this point. So that I can let that slide. But as he watched me wait for about 5 minutes in the sewing area at one of the cutting tables to talk to an employee for help finding what I ultimately wanted to buy because she was talking to her cousin and couldn't be troubled to simply point me in the right direction. I was a little upset. That's now 2 employees that couldn't give me the time of day. So I sat down the 150 ish dollars of merchandise I was planning to buy and waved bye to the manager that could only think the worst of a 27 year old wearing a dirty mechanics uniform. Turns out mom likes the sewing kit I bought her...

Hobby lobby that i spent most money in was in homerown hagerstown. The treated me like crap because im not what they want. They want the soccer mom crafter that just buys and dosent really know what they want todo with their money. I however weare what i make because thats why i went to hobby lobby because the cheep leather that was on sale almost always when i fiest went their. The store i visted here just wanted to know where i was from. They asked everyone for info. I guess ppl dont gointo the stores like hagerstown like they do everywhere else. I bet im right. Went to 3 diffrent hobby lobbies on this trip. 1st was home one fir the leather to make my saddle bags on way out west. No question to anyone bout where they r from.
