I felt very uncomfortable going here. I went to this establishment on January 20 2025. I was racially profiled by this individual. When I went there I was approached by a shorter white women with a brown shoulder length hair. On this day she was wearing a white top and some jeans. When I walked in the store I went to the baby section and she approached me and said do I need help I said no I’m good then she proceed to pretend to fix clothes while looking directly at me. She then proceeded to look at me the entire time and saying things on the microphone. I was so furious I just walked out the store. That was my biggest regret I should’ve took out my phone and recorded her and put it all over my social media platforms so that way no stone would be left unturned. This will not be left alone. I will be going to back to find out her name so I can make a formal complaint to corporate. I’m black with a good paying job and MONEY. Trust me I do not need to steal. I go to this establishment all the time and spend at least 250$ everytime. This was the first time I ever saw this women and I have ever been treated this way. Today was the worst for me! I’m traveling and stopped at Ralph Lauren Tanger outlets in Commerce. I am approach 6 different occasions about whether I’m ok and whether I need help. I told Sam no I didn’t need any help and within 3 minutes of looking the girl immediately next to him ask me the same redundant question. After walking the store looking for myself a couple of treats I decided to buy two top full zipper jogging tops, one black bottom, and a full top and bottom suit, but low and behold here comes Sam! At this moment I can’t take it anymore and decided my money isn’t worth spending if I am harassed! Sometimes people need a good relaxing and comforting experience of buying something of quality as a treat yourself type of thing but someone has to just F- things up! Thanks but no thanks! This place could have done a little bit better with a lot of things. I saw that associates, as well as managers, tend to neglect customers and their duties. I was in here last week, and most of the staff was just standing in the front of the store just talking and having a good time, while there were people that needed help. Some of these people aren't even qualified to work for such an enormous brand; most associates have VERY little knowledge of what their product is, and tend to say, "I don't really work in this department that often. Sorry!" Their corporate office will be hearing from me...
