great burgers but the assistant manager (unsure of the actual official title of this employee, however) on duty was going to charge me for two separate but identical orders that were placed on the app, one of them being the result of a glitch on the app that duplicated the order. after outright refusal on their end I was allowed the opportunity to prove these details to the staff myself, kindly of course and thoroughly, with very clear and concise explanations, unfortunately none of which seemed to tick any boxes upstairs for the stubborn lady. this dumb and amazing situation did however cause significant frustration on my end due to the time consuming nature and it having ultimately caused my meal to be cold and almost inedible after having to undergo this operation, also while pretty hungry. I had to call my bank for a refund request and while on hold for a good moment with no interest on their ends to resolve, I went ahead and requested that they just go ahead and cancel both orders if I was going to be forced into paying for a duplicate order that had nothing to do with me.. then the woman quickly then went to the back to ask her manager if she could give me a refund 🫨 it took 2 seconds and of course she could....why not that BEFORE the extremely rude behavior on the part of the employee consistently demanding outright that "she doesnt think they are allowed to give refunds" and "what if im scamming them...." lady WHAT; I have a feeling only in commerce would one find themselves facing this dilemma, however, which...

Read moreI’ve always enjoyed visiting Five Guys for their consistently great food and casual vibe. The burgers are juicy, made-to-order, and taste fresh every time. The fries are another highlight — crispy, generously portioned, and perfectly seasoned. I also appreciate that you can customize your burger with a wide range of free toppings, which really lets you make it your own.
However, I’m giving it four stars instead of five because the vegetarian options are quite limited. If you don’t eat meat, your only real choices are the grilled cheese or the veggie sandwich, which is essentially a burger bun with toppings and no actual patty. It would be great to see them add a plant-based burger or a more satisfying vegetarian entrée, especially considering how popular those have become.
Despite that, the overall experience at Five Guys is always solid. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food quality is consistently high. It’s a great spot for a casual meal, especially if you’re craving a classic American burger and fries. Just be aware that vegetarians may find the menu a little lacking. Hopefully they expand on that...
