I love the food which is the only reason I'm not giving this one star. I tried calling before I went there just to make sure they were open because the online hours said they were but I've been there before when they should have been open and they were indeed closed. Anyway, they didn't answer the phone. So, I called one of the New Albany locations to ask if they had the same hours as the Jeff location. The man on the phone assured me that they all have the same hours, close at 10PM and are owned by the same person. Cool. I hop in my car and drive to the Jeff location. I arrive at 9:30PM which gives them a whole thirty minutes to make one sandwich. Totally reasonable. I arrive there only to see they have turned their OPEN sign off 30 minutes early. I walk in anyway and the girl at the cash register was pretty uninviting to say the least. She was not happy that I was there, clearly. She was huffing and puffing at me and after every question she asked, she would let out a very loud sigh. I'm sorry but, this business has 30 minutes before you stop making sandwiches. If the hours don't work for you, maybe try working somewhere else? I know at my job that if we don't stay open until the time we say we close, we would get fired. That's the way jobs work. I wouldn't be this upset about it had this not happened before at this location. Like I said, there have been other occasions that I've tried to go there when they were open but they had closed early. Her name was Abigail as my...
Read moreJust ordered a sandwich over the phone. Could barely understand the guy. I arrive and get some extra things. He charges me for just the extra things. I tried to explain I hadn’t paid for the food yet and he just didn’t understand. Had to call another employee over. I was told my sandwich was out but they were dropping fresh fries. Meanwhile the manager is sitting in a booth yelling stuff at the employees behind counter 2 of 4 seemed to be in training with no leadership to guide them. My sandwich sat there ready for 10 minutes before I said something. They then bagged it up with some fries that had been ready for a few minutes. I was gonna deal with the food being cold and take the loss. But The sandwich was wrong. I asked for no Parmesan and it was on there. I brought it to the managers attention and he acted like I didn’t order it that way because the ticket didn’t have it. however I said it and it was repeated back to me. Then offered to remake it. I spent a total of 30 mins at this location after calling in an order 15 mins ahead of time. I used to never have issues here until recently. Corporate if I were you I’d get some leadership in there quick these...
Read moreIf you want your overpriced sandwiches made by 3 incredibly slow stoned guys, this is the spot.
38 minutes to get my order of two sandwiches (and they weren't even busy) from the time I placed the order online, to the time when they handed me my bag.
22 of those minutes, the sandwiches were complete, sitting behind the counter, unbagged. I didn't even realize they were my sandwiches. But, after overhearing me complaining to my wife on the phone, they FINALLY asked my name, and bagged these orphan sandwiches.
Up until that point, they had not addressed me once. No "hello, how are you doing, what's your name, do you have an online order?". Nothing. If, at any point they had even addressed me, they would have realized that I was waiting on food that was sitting there, getting cold.
Both of our sandwiches were missing ingredients, but it wouldn't have even been a big deal if they weren't a room temperature, greasy mess.
I've contacted corporate to request a refund. I've never done that before. But I've never had an experience like this at a Penn Station either. Either way, I won't be back to...
