I started coming to Body in Brow located in Jeffersonville about a year and half ago for my brow thread then added a Brazilian. During my appt with Ashley one month I had asked about some skin care routines and guidance on what I should do as I was feeling like my skin was dull and looked tired.. after our conversation during my thread and wax I ended up booking another appt which was the start to my skin care journey.

I started with a Dermaplanning which I saw Abby she broke down everything she was doing and gave all the benefits of what she was doing. Over time I added in a problematic facial a derma frost another dermaplanning and express facial. Products were never pushed but was given all the benefits of using the professional strength products they offered.. I started with a couple serums and the power scrub and loved them!!

Fast forward to about two weeks ago during an express facial with Ashley I asked for some more guidance as I felt like I needed to add a little more in my daily routine. I made the jump to Circadia SPF moisturizer and fell in love, I didn’t care for the one I was using and wasn’t hardly using. After talking with Ashley again during my thread and wax appt I have now switched to the face wash and serum 71 by Circadia and added the power peel by Tuel. To say I feel like I glow all day and all night is an understatement I have been trying to get to this brightness lively look for so long and feel like we are finally there.

I went to body and brow Jeffersonville location a couple days ago. I had mixed feeling about it. Let me start by saying this was my first and last time going to a salon for a waxing. I had my armpits and legs done because I never have time to shave nor do I like razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I’ve heard so many good things read so many good reviews and decided on here. Well probably not one of the best things I’ve done. The technician the only reason I have 3 stars to this review was amazing and so sweet in a human to human interaction. As far as my waxing service I’m not happy. I have patches of hair all over my legs and armpits so I threw my money away pretty much. And went through hell. For one I had an allergic reaction to the soft wax so as soon as it was done my legs and armpits were burning like they were on fire bubbling up and extremely swollen. She instructed me to take allergy medicine as soon as I left and it would make it go away. It did go away after a couple hours but in the meantime I was almost in tears legs were twitching it hurt so bad. She told me next time only use the hard wax and I would be ok. She was very sweet and put cooling lotion on my legs to ease the burn then used cooling globes to take the burn down. It helped a little but in the end the medicine did do the trick. But after going through all of that I was excited to have my soft skin and as you can tell in the pictures this is not the legs of someone who just got them waxed a couple days ago smh. And my armpits are just the same. So idk I liked the way she handled my reaction but I’m also not happy with the outcome of spending almost $100 on half a leg...

I could go on for days about how this company and their people have changed me for the better. I will start by saying they empower you to be your most authentic self and promote the beautiful self you already are. They aren’t trying to change you but make you feel more confident in your own skin. I love everything about my experience at Body and Brow. From how they invest in me as a person and know what’s going on with me personally but then always cater a beauty or skin routine specific to me because they have taken detailed notes and listened to things during my services. I always leave feeling beautiful and more confident than when I walked in. Not to many places can do that. Their quality of products that they sell are nothing but phenomenal and I’m obsessed with everything I’ve tried. I’ve have been a customer since pretty much when they opened and I’m always trying new services and have never been disappointed in anything I’ve tried even though it may have been outside my comfort zone. We have such a goldmine in this company in our community. I always always recommend them anytime I possibly can.I have been to both locations but currently visit the Jeffersonville location because my girl Ashley constantly goes above and beyond for me.
