Personal opinion- I would NOT recommend this place EVER again. If you're thinking, hey, maybe it'll be just as good, it won't. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I feel like an idiot. Spent $23 dollars on 2 Philly rolls, a ginger dressing, a (free cause they couldn't find the button) mango sauce, and a crab Rangoon. It was all horrible. I feel such shame I wasted my money. I knew something was wrong when i opened the rolls box and it smelled STRONGLY FISHY 🐟 🤔 I gagged almost immediately. But spending that kind of money, I hated it getting wasted. So I tried one piece. Spit it right out. Tastes super weird. Old. Fishy. The salmon pieces were I credibly small and weirdly discolored. Almost brown ish. The nori smelled weird. The rice was more sticky than usual. The ginger dressing was somehow too watery and also weirdly spiced. And the free mango sauce tasted like baby food in NOT a good way lol. The crab Rangoon was ok in the way that it's hard to mess up cream cheese filling but the filling was cold and the outer crunch was hard 😫 😅 😩 wish i could get a refund. After deciding the roll was basically inedible i picked out the small salmon pieces and cooked them in case it was old and picked the cream cheese and avocado out to try to makw a "bowl" but still could t stomach it at all. I probably took 4 forced bites and threw it all in the trash. Huge waste of tike money and possibly health. Sorry, guys, but this was an absolutely horrible experience and I hate to leave bad reviews but if I would have read the reviews first instead of letting my love for good sushi blind me into an impulse decision, we'd probably both feel less nauseous 😕 and I wouldn't be out 23 bucks and still have to make lunch if I ever feel not ill 😢 😞 😕
Update: slept for 4 hours dead to the world and woke up tp be physically ill. Personal opinion, I...
Read moreIf there was ZERO stars as an option I would have picked it! Terrible service! Came in on my lunch for a sushi roll. Explained that nothing on the menu had spicy crab inside with cooked shrimp and tempura on top. She went and asked the back and came and said the Jeffersonville was what the chef said had my ingredients. I was clear that I do NOT want any raw meat. This roll was disgusting. There was slimy raw meat on top. Cucumbers inside were squishy and had turned. I asked for yum yum sauce. She brought me thick eel sauce. I asked about the yum yum again and she pointed to the soy on the table. I tried to say I disliked the roll and it wasn't what I asked for. Tried to send it back. She tried to give me a box and said if I wasn't eating it I could take it home. No if it's gross I dont want it! The crab rangoon was so overcooked that AFTER my house salad and the disgusting sushi the cream cheese was STILL molten lava and burnt! They had the audacity to charge me $27 for a lunch I could NOT eat! Asked for a manager and she played like she couldn't understand English. So I paid and left. No tip. No return trip. No chance at redemption. Lesson...
Read moreLooks can be deceiving because from the outside it looks small and ordinary, but on the inside it’s quaint, cozy, and the food is on another level. The service was outstanding, very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The menu is a bit overwhelming and expansive but that is due to the sushi menu. If you have questions they will navigate and make great suggestions. We tried the yummy roll, jalapeño type roll, and a flaming roll. Absolutely divine. The dumplings are yummy and the Ramen is umami and succulent. Nigiri sushi was fresh and melt in your mouth. Only criticisms would be to possibly sear the pork belly to get that top skin more crisp it was a little gelatinous and unpleasant on the palate. Also the broth was a tad over salty but I’m a salt fan so it didn’t bother me much. Overall this place is a hidden gem in Jeff and should be visited if you get...
