Update as of 10.22.18. I spoke with Dustin today and we had an incredible conversation. It was positive, productive and peaceful. He responded to my every need and concern immediately and apologized for my experience. I think we both understood that we want what is best for both the customer and the business. His ability to problem solve and communicate is what keeps customers. Thank you so much Dustin for your dedication and follow through! He is a cool dude!
As I send this message to you, I am also sharing it with different social platforms and Google review. On Friday October 19th 2018 I brought my son into the store because he was experiencing an issue with his Iphone 7SPlus. We were greeted by a young lady named Adrienne. She did greet us in a friendly manner and walked us over to the counter. She asked us what was going on and we described what the issue was(we were unable to hear or be heard when making phone calls). I expected her to take a look at the phone to see if she could recreate the issue, but instead she told us flat out that we just needed to buy a new phone or put in a claim for $180 to get a replacement. I kept asking probing questions but she kept repeating that they can't fix it or do nothing but sell us a new phone or out in a claim. We mentioned going to the Apple store and she said we can but they're just going to tell us the same thing.
Eventually she looked up the phone number on my account and she did not request or ask for the password nor did she confirm any other information. She just pulled it up to just kind of make it seem like she had our interest at hand. The music that was playing over the intercom was not TMobile approved, unless rapping about smoking, drinking and booties is ok. Adrienne at one point tuned her attention to the song and began to sing and rock her body back and forth. What in the heck! Had she really have been concerned and focused she would have seen that the phone was under warranty and she could have suggested that there could be a warranty exchange take place. She did none of that she just kept pushing a phone down our throats and saying there's nothing else they can do.
We left the store and immediately I called the T-Mobile toll free number I got on the phone with a representative named Tamika and explain what was going on. She let us know that our phone was under warranty and that we could do a warranty replacement. On top of that she was extremely apologetic for the behavior that Adrienne was displaying towards us and and the lack of professionalism.
After troubleshooting on the phone and it was determined that there's a software issue that's also affecting other customers. Since our phone was still under warranty we were able to make an exchange. They said that all of this could have been detected and handled within the store without us having to call the toll-free number.
Adrienne is a product of the management and I have to believe if the DM knew about this he or she wouldn't like.
Sincerely,
CeeJae (very...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews.(Especially bad reviews) But I want to write this review for other customers. I visited this place (Jennings) a few days ago, and the Jennings T-Mobile sales associate didn't even explain the service plan to me. It turned out later that she wanted to charge me for the most expensive plan. So I said I wanted to do the basic plan. ($45 plan) She told me I had to pay $35 today and she brought a SIM card and told me I had to go to another T mobile store 8-9 minutes away from Jennings store because unfortunately, all sim cards in Jennings don't work. And she told me I must go on that day. I didn't go to another store on that day due to my schedule.
Today I visited another local T mobile store, and all the sales associates from there told me that the Jennings store associate treated me wrong. I found out that the Jennings salesperson was trying to deceive me. She had already activated my account and it was the most expensive plan. (Even though I clearly said I don't want it!) And if I had gone to another store the day she told me and got a SIM card as she said, she would have gotten $35 as well. With the commission of the most expensive plan!! I don't want other customers to be experienced the same thing as me, and I desperately want them not to go...
Read moreim truly dissatisfied with this store. They treated the pandemic as if it was a joke and they almost lost me and my family of 5 as customers. EVERY associate working in the store was wearing their mask under their chins, i even called ahead to make sure that wearing the mask was required. I am immunocompromised, it defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. It defeats the purpose of the sign on the front door saying there are no exceptions. I didn't go into this location once I saw how careless they were. The west florissant location did help me and take care of everything I needed WHILE wearing a mask. Other people shouldn't have to suffer because some don't believe the pandemic is real. I truly appreciate the Tmobile Employees that helped me at the other store. They...
