The maintenance and front desk staff here are great—always helpful and professional. Five stars to them.

But the ongoing construction is unbearable. It’s happening just feet away from the building, with nonstop pile driving and loud machinery going from morning to evening, Monday through Friday. The noise is intense, and the dust is everywhere—outside, at the entrance, and even getting into apartments. You can’t open your windows or get any peace during the day. It’s honestly making everyone unhealthy mentally and physically living in these conditions.

What’s worse is that it’s the same management company behind the construction. Feels like they’ve completely disregarded the well-being of current tenants. Not sure how they expect anyone to renew their lease or move in under these conditions.

I had an absolute nightmare experience living at 9 homestead. A simple ceiling leak turned into weeks of disaster—walls torn open, no privacy, no hot water during freezing weather, and my bathroom left completely exposed. Pipes burst twice, flooding my apartment, and the chemical use from repairs made it impossible to stay. I was forced to pay for a hotel while still covering full rent.

Management ignored key concerns, only responding to what suited them. Even after repairs, I had to endure headaches and dizziness from lingering chemicals. Instead of making things right, they offered minimal compensation while I suffered.

If you value livable conditions, accountability, and proper maintenance, stay far away from 9 homestead. This place is a disaster...

Mostly good, main issue is that there is no bike room even though it was advertised during the room tour. Second floor still has 3 rooms labeled as bike room, which was what was shown to us during the tour, but now it looks like one of the labels was hastily covered over with another label. The other labels will probably change over time, feels a bit disingenuous.

They offer bike racks outside the building, but nearby construction blows dust that corrodes the chain and gears. No overhead shelter, resulting in no rain protection. Also has issues with theft as my bike wheel was stolen.
