Came for a muffin, left with a quesadilla & a scone — all gluten free!!! Had a bit of trouble finding this spot. It’s *behind* the Journal Square PATH train ; across from the Dunkin Donuts. Whealth is worth the mini adventure to find it especially if you have food sensitivities!! Coffee’s pretty good; middle of the line on strength. It’s reminiscent of Sumatra, just not as dark roasted. And, they have oat milk & upscale regular milk. I was too early for the marinated chicken but it smelled AMAZING when I stepped in. The quesadilla was flavorful, on the (red) tomato-y side light cheese & tender delish chicken. Will definitely come again should my schedule allow. Only downside : It closes at 3p people. 😞

I've been passing by this wonderful (didn't know it was wonderful back then) establishment on and off for over a year, but never had time to stop by. I finally did make that stop a couple of weeks ago, and boy, didn't I regret it! I ordered a little bit of everything for breakfast for over a hundred dollars. The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly, and the staff was amazing.  Turned out the owners also have an organic farm and source from it, as well as sell eggs, bacon, chicken, and meat in the shop. I picked up a dozen eggs, and while waiting for an order, I inquired about the price of the whole frozen organic chicken. Imagine my surprise when my order was ready, a young gentleman (I forgot his name) at the checkout told me there was one more item, and handed me that chicken. I said I didn't order it and merely asked about the price, but the gentleman told me with a smile that it was on the house! Long story short, the food was delicious and healthy, reasonably priced, and I am definitely coming back!

P.S. Dear Google people. Let me know when you add 10 stars to the ratings, and I will change mine from 5 stars to 10, because this place and other owners and staff rightfully deserve it, and then some!

P.P.S This is a true story from a...

As an avid reviewer, this is one of the few where I wish I could add an extra star.

Starting with the food, everything is really healthy, locally sourced when it can be, and delicous no matter what I've ordered. I love that breakfast is all day and the coffee is excellent. Favorite's are the beef egg and cheese, and my morning iced coffee, but often times I end up back for lunch because the special on the board looks too good to pass up.

While the food is amazing and could keep me coming back each day alone, the atmosphere and service of this place also excels. It is by far some of the most friendly, and down to earth people I have ever met that work here. Thanks to them, this place is that much better making it feel like I'm a part of the community each time I go! Not only do I feel welcomed by the team, but service is fast, and the space they have is decorated feels homey and welcoming as well!

Highly recomend for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

They also do meal prep which I have yet to try, but am heavily...

Whoa. I was searching for a coffee shop in journal square - quick cup in between errands. I walked into this place which I'd seen before in passing. The aroma when I walked in was incredible - they were cooking several things at once I later learned. They were very friendly and greeted me right away. I looked around a bit and took in the cute decor and perfect vibe of this place. I thought to myself I should come back post pandemic to chill here. I asked if they sold coffee (I didn't see a menu) and they said "yes but actually we're closed". I felt so bad! I apologized for not realizing that and prepared to leave but the man who I'm guessing is the owner said "oh no stay, we have coffee. what would you like? It'll be on us!" I was shocked at the kindness. That goes beyond customer service because this wasn't about being nice to make a profit. This was just a kind generous human running a great business. I thanked them and told them how good that food smelled. Also, the coffee was perfect! I will...
