This was a fantastic store staffed by three generations of women. I went with my friend who needed outfits to attend an Indian wedding. She doesn't love shopping for clothing and generally avoids the experience. She has a fuller figure so some stores don't carry the correct size or understand how to properly showcase anyone who isn't a 12 or smaller. They couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Truly some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. She has never worn this style of clothing before and wanted to be respectful. They made her feel very comfortable and showed her how to style the scarves and accessories. And gave us a quick dance lesson.

They did a few minor alterations to her outfits while we had samosas from the shop next door. This was very thoughtful as we came from over 2 hours away and now wouldn't need to drive back before the wedding to pick up her garments.

What they showed her was extremely flattering for her body and she really looked fantastic. I bought a beautiful cotton outfit that I will add into my daily wardrobe. They completely understand how to dress the entire range of sizes in the most flattering way for many different body types and were very happy to be inclusive to non indian women as well. I cannot recommend them...

My fiance and I went to Sunanda Kumar to pick out and get fitted for our Wedding Outfits. As soon as I walked in I was immediately and happily greeted by one of the workers there, Kita. Her and the owner, Sunanada, and one other employee then spent the next 4 hours working with us to figure out our perfect wedding attire..not only for us but also for our Grooms Men and Brides Maids. From helping us pick out our color palettes and desired look to sizing and fitting us for that perfect fit. They are even customizing things for us to make it exactly the way we want it. They even are customizing outfits for our children. All in all Kita and Sunanda were amazing. They spent so much time catering to us that we were all giving each other hugs to say good bye at the end. That was how good our experience was with them. If you are looking for you next amazing outfit..there is no doubt that Sunanda Kumar will more than exceed you expectations and deliver and amazing customer experience just as they did for us.
