I’ve been to Minar Halal Meat several times, and it has consistently impressed me with its quality and service. The store is my go-to place for fresh halal meat and a wide variety of South Asian and Middle Eastern groceries. Their commitment to providing ethically-sourced, fresh halal meat ensures I can shop with peace of mind every time.
The meat section is always well-stocked, offering a range of options like chicken, beef, lamb, and goat. The staff is accommodating and willing to customize cuts based on your preference, which I’ve appreciated on multiple visits. They even offer pre-marinated options that save time while delivering amazing flavors.
Beyond the meat counter, I’ve often found myself exploring their grocery section, which has an excellent variety of spices, lentils, and other essentials for traditional South Asian cooking. They also stock a good selection of frozen goods and fresh produce, including hard-to-find herbs and vegetables.
The store is clean and well-organized, though it can get crowded during peak hours, especially weekends. However, the friendly and helpful staff make up for it, always ready to assist with recommendations or any questions. Pricing is fair, and the quality of their products justifies every penny spent.
Every time I visit Minar Halal Meat, I leave satisfied, knowing I’ve picked up fresh, high-quality ingredients for my meals. If you’re looking for a reliable halal meat store, this place...
Read moreAVOID IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AT ALL!!! There’s 0 regard for sanitation. They don’t wipe down the scale they put meat on, they touch everything with the same gloves, the chicken is thrown on top of the beef. Truly disgusting. The one across the street isn’t much better they have the decency to not cross contaminate 🤮
Editing because this clearly struck a nerve. The way the food is handled is unsafe and illegal. Wasn’t gonna do this but since you have an attitude, expect a visit from the health inspector soon. I didn’t even mention the ridiculous card minimums you have ($15!!!). I wonder if all that cash is being reported. Would be a shame if the IRS caught wind of that. Acting like you provide the community a service is incredibly disingenuous. You are actively endangering people looking for a high quality product. For people like me than can only eat Halal meet its a shame the market is corner by unprofessional people like you. As a matter of fact the way this business operates is quite...
Read moreI am not sure how accurate the positive reviews are as my experiences with Minar Halal Meat was disappointing. I only went to Minar Halal Meat because they offer zabiha halal. First of all, the meat is overpriced for the small quantity provided — it really didn’t feel worth the money. Despite washing it 7-8 times, the meat still didn’t seem clean. On top of that, it was so tough that I had to pressure cook it for 8-9 whistles just to make it somewhat tender. Overall, the quality was far below expectations. Moreover, I paid for boneless meat and I see bone in the meat. I will never shop at this...
