Um well its sketchy at night really but during the day at least I know if I am mugged or stabbed there will most likely be witnesses Christian enough to call the cops and help lol....houston crime seems always bad though and there is far worse than this poarking lot but it seems like this end of 1960 was bad yes ago and I've moved back n its about the same level of bad just more stores have closed n moved closer to the mall and as close to vintage park as they can for survival cus the business that once was as far as community shoppers etc has moved farther out toward spring cypress n Tomball but for its location and what stores that remain u have great deals like dollar movies for families or budget dating and pursue the isles of books at half price make a couple bucks selling old books crafters are in luck cus this hobby lob y manages to keep.its doors open n not move on to willowbrook cus most likely the completion if Joanne's and Micheal is close and rent is way higher but for 1960 it's well it's as safe as this area gets just don't wander to the darker parts of parking lots or openly show cash u know most violence seems to be associated with the darker times or...
Read moreThis parking lot is atrocious! There are huge potholes and I don’t mean the kind that you run over and you’re like oops a pothole. I’m talking about the kind that if you try to drive over it, your tire stuck in there while. They did recently tear down a wall in the back parking lot and they paved it over back there so that people can use it as a through way from one into the next, which was convenient considering the front parking lot is absolutely a hazard. They’ve gotten some new stores in recently and I really like that. All the discount are bargain stores that I like are in this one location it makes things easier to plan out for the day. The clothing donation drop off boxes are always gross with tons of trash litter around them. I don’t know why anyone would treat these as trash cans as a dumpster, but I really wish they would knock it off. There is always broken glass all over this parking lot. I...
Read moreThis shopping center is a guilty pleasure of mine. If I'm bored or need ANYTHING ill come here, park, and walk/shop store to store. (Always leaving with more than I came for of course.)
This is a cheap shopping center full of clean stores with lower prices. Big Lots, Ross, TJ Maxx, Dollar tree, Half Priced Books, Hobby Lobby, and quite a few more. There is also a dollar theater! The movies release late but your paying $1.50 a ticket so what do you expect?
There are people asking for money in the parking lot sometimes but overall its a fun variety of shops and I have never felt unsafe there. (In all honesty I wouldn't recommend after dark just because the area isn't the best.)
5 stars because it is what it is, cheap shopping center off 1960 and veterans memorial, always clean, has security guards cruising the parking lot, and friendly employees...
