My husband and I went through the drive thru tonight and had such a bad interaction. Our cashier was a young lady named Candy, when I started ordering I could tell she was distracted, she laughed directly into the mic with her coworkers as she was attempting to take my order. I finished giving her the rest of my order and asked her to repeat it back to make sure it was correct. As she started repeating it she stopped to let me know she was new. I am typically very understanding of this as not only have I worked for WB myself but I've worked at this specific location. As I attempted to correct her she rudely interrupted to tell me she got it, told me the total and to pull up to the window. There was a customer in front who I could tell was also very unhappy with the cashier she also left without food. When I got to the window I asked candy to speak with her manager, she responded "For what??" With such a nasty attitude refusing to get her manager. The manager there was right behind her so he came up to talk to me, I did not catch the managers name. He immediately began to place the blame on the previous customer on why candy was giving me such a nasty attitude. I let him know she got the order wrong multiple times, he began reading it back and I interrupted him where she messed up. He then closed the window to let the kitchen know not finishing the repeating of my order. I paid and he handed me 3 drinks, then he gave me a receipt as I looked over it I realized they had charged me for an additional drink and let the manager know it was wrong. The manager immediately tried to blame me for the misunderstanding saying he had read it back despite not having finished due to Candy's error. He said he void the whole check to remove the drink but would have to charge me again. At that point the interaction was so poor I decided I simply wanted my money back. He demanded I return the drinks which we did. I asked for a copy of the refund receipt, he kept refusing to provide one because "It was the same as the original" and he "needed to keep one for the store" I'm very familiar with WB protocol he should have given me the receipt without me prompting it but I had to ask him 3-4 times before he gave it to me. I hope GM takes the time to reprimand her staff because that was unacceptable, I would be embarrassed a store with my name on it was doing...
Read moreI like Whataburger. I'm a fan of their food and the way they do most things, This is a new location and is clean and well laid out. So why the missing stars? I tried their curbside pickup and it wasn't a good experience.
I ordered a jalapeno burger meal on their website for curbside pickup. Paid for it online. timing was ASAP, told me to be there in 10-12 minutes. By the way, I think there website is better then most for ordering food.
I was in my parking spot in 11 minutes. Unfortunately the instructions for picking up your food in the email didn't match the the instructions on the website which didn't match the instructions at the store. I texted I was there, no one was outside and there was no way to indicate which space I was in. As it turned out I was the only one in any of the pickup spaces.
Checked my phone, my order was "processing" - so I guess they know I am here.
People are coming and going from the restaurant 25 minutes after my order I try to "check in" again - still "processing" People who had showed up AFTER I got there have made it through the drive through line and left,
I decide to forgo my contactless order and went inside in search of lost burger and fries. 5 minutes later I had my meal. When I asked what happened, I was told my order was " waiting on fries"
What I assume was the manager was working behind the cash register so that's a good sign and this was my only curbside experience at any Whataburger although I have used the app and eaten at that store before (and many many others) Maybe this is just a one off or maybe they will fix the curbside experience.
I will still get burgers from this location but I will skip the...
Read moreMy experience here was the worst. I came to this establishment and placed an order. My ticket was a little under $37.00, I’m human I’d expect $37.00 worth of food. I should not be forced to take food that was not what I paid for. That is stealing, and don’t people get in trouble for stealing? Well apparently this place does it to their customers. I was told I should have brought the food back, the order was placed and messed up at 12:55am. I immediately called back to inform the establishment that my order was not correct upon making it home. I did not get an answer. The next morning while working I called this place and spoke with one of the managers that answered the phone (which I will not say his name). I informed the manager of the issue from just a couple of hours before. I was informed to keep my receipt (write his name on it) and to return at a later time upon my choice to get my order corrected. This visit was not about getting money back, this was about getting what I paid for corrected. Which he acknowledged and stated they’d do. Well little to my surprise once arriving on Wednesday I was informed it was not going to be acknowledged per Henry.
The fact that in the world we live in we have to work hard for our money, and to come here and be taken advantage of is ridiculous.
I visit this place frequently and I never ask for anything free, I just ask for what I pay for to be correct. For this to be done in a fast food establishment is embarrassing.
The leader and manager should be ashamed to say that they have this type of service at...
