I saw this place open near my house and was looking to get a little breakfast while on the way home so I decided to go through the drive thru to see what Black Rock was about. There menu has lots of options for coffee drinkers but also non-coffee drinkers like myself. I opted for a strawberry passion tea and their egg and potato burrito and picked up a mexican mocha coffee and sausage and egg burrito for my husband. The burritos were better than we both expected to come from a coffee shop. They were good sized, filling and had a little kick to them. The tea was a little sweet for my taste but my husband really enjoyed his Mexican mocha. Staff in the drive thru was very friendly and we look forward to trying more of the menu!

Delicious! Highly recommend! Unfortunately, they close far too early. Cut staff in the middle of the day if need be, but you can't close at 7pm & think you're going to have long-term success in a big city. People are looking for coffee & other drinks after 7pm. Which is going to filter down to the rest of the day, & going to get people to get into the norm of gong elsewhere. Not good for a new & smaller franchise business that has a big-name competitor nearby. I love Black Rock coffee, but I haven't been back to this location since their grand opening due to their early closing hours.

I came in to use my free drink because it expired today and the guy who helped me was awesome. I told him I didn’t know what I wanted and he walked me through the menu and helped me pick a drink. I went with an iced Mexican Mocha with vanilla cold foam and it is delicious!! I’m usually a sipper but I will definitely be finishing this drink before I get home. I wish I had asked his name, but he was great. I came around 4:30pm on 2/17 so if the manager sees this, give him his kudos!

What a horrible experience. First, the blonde with the butchered curly hair cut started off nice and fake. She asked my name for the order but never called my name instead she sat my coffee down and let it sit on the counter for ten minutes.

I went to the counter and she pointed at my coffee. Should have requested a refund at that moment since they weren't busy and it was clearly done purposely. I sat back down to finish my homework and later when I requested a water from the Mexican behind the counter she rudely and forcefully handed it me almost shoving it into my hand.

I thought this behavior from both ladies strange but then again I don't know them, never been to this location before and I tipped them $3 on a $7 coffee. Anyways when I noticed the Mexican putting up the chairs outside I asked why they were putting up the chairs since I had gone out to vape and they still had two hours before closing. The girl with the horrible haircut rudely said because she's putting them up but in an extremely rude way. I decided to confront them both. Their behavior since I arrived was odd, strange, rude and borderline racist. Theres literally no other reason they just had a bad attitude for nothing at all.

This is the attitude that will keep you making coffee and serving other people in the long run. Good...

I’m a 60-year-old retired military veteran and have been a loyal customer at this location since the day it opened — every single day. The staff has always been great, but the new manager (a short, petite, Caucasian girl with glasses) is extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional.

Recently, she confronted me over petty hearsay, slammed the window in my face, and told me I was no longer welcome after years of daily support. Meanwhile, her employees look miserable when she’s around, but when she was on vacation, the store atmosphere was noticeably happier and more positive. That says everything about the kind of environment she creates.

I am beyond disbelief at the disrespect I experienced. I would like Black Rock corporate to reach out to me directly, because I truly feel I deserve an apology. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this...

This morning I had a very disappointing experience with the young woman at the window who handed me my order. She had red hair or orange and round/octagon-shaped glasses (very cute glasses, by the way), but her attitude toward me as a customer was very rude and unprofessional.

All I did was change my order from a medium to a large at the window. She told me that “next time” I needed to request that when placing the order at the box. I explained that I had just decided to make the change after I placed the order, which is why I told her before she handed me the drink. Instead of understanding, she dismissed me and repeated herself.

I left feeling unappreciated and not listened to. If she doesn’t have the patience to interact with customers, maybe she should focus on preparing the drinks rather than handing them out. I don’t think it’s...
