Thia bubble tea place has a good taro milk tea in my opinion. The staffs are friendly. I have tried this place when they opened their store in 2017. Their business is growing, but their customer service is going down. When they started the business, they were very generous in - giving rewards, birthday drink, drink sample, and drink quality and quantity, but they don't have these things any more excepting the reward - buying 10 drinks you will get a free small Traditional bubble tea. Last time I tried to redeem my free drink, and it reached my limit with this tea place. The owner is being greedy - last time instead of getting a free small Traditional boba tea ($3.79), I wanted to get a free small Cheese Boba tea ($3.99), and I would pay the difference which is $0.20. However, they wanted to charge me $1 for changing from Traditional to Cheese boba tea. I asked the owner why they wanted to charge me $1 instead of 20 cents, and they explained to me that $1 is for cheese and extra cream. Their explanation doesn't make senses and logic with the price on the menu. It was a last time I visited this place. The owner should review their services and realize why they are losing their loyal customers - lot of my friends stopped coming to...
Read moreUPDATE Went back multiple times and have learned that the quality depends on who you have making it for you: there are two women and the older of the two is not good at preparing it. On my last visit some weeks ago, she made it very poorly - I tried the Peach tea and it was rancid. I also had more cheese bubble tea and while the recipe is normally so delicious, it was prepared incorrectly somehow and just had bad texture and consistency. I will leave the rating at 5 stars because of how amazing it is when made correctly. But be aware that your experience could vary greatly depending on who is working when you go.
ORIGINAL REVIEW Better than every other Bubble tea place in Atlanta (and I’ve tried them all) and better than all the ones I’ve been to on the west coast! They have the best customer service, as well as the best bubble tea product. I can’t believe how delicious the Cheese Bubble tea is (it’s sweet! Not “cheesy” flavored) - I believe they make it with cream cheese? Either way their tea is fantastic, so good I did something I’ve never done before and immediately went back when I was done and bought another round. I believe this is the best Bubble in the entire world, probably in the...
Read moreBubble tea again? Yep, there's another one!
Greatea is located in John's Creek, GA. It's only been open for a few months but it's definitely leaving a lasting impression on the community. It's has a steady stream of customers who are coming in for their great tea (see what I did there?).
The interior isn't too big but it's very cozy and I can see why people come here to relax and study.
The drinks are either milk based or traditional tea based. They have popular options for each. They also serve some special drinks that fall in neither of the first 2 categories. Didn't get a chance to try those though. Based on recommendations I went for the fruit teas which are very good to say the least. They container actual pieces for fruit inside the tea that you can eat after words. The fruit tea comes in a high quality cup made of sturdy plastic, it feels really premium.
The only real downside is the wait for the drinks, some will take up to 10+ minutes depending what you order. Guess patience is the price for quality. If you're not in a rush, then no biggie. Overall the tea was great! Definitely coming back to try the...
