Royal Palace Event Centre — Local services in Joliet

I attended a repast here. The venue space accommodated the number of guests and the decor was decent. We had a beautiful time with friends and family but there were a couple of things on part of the venue was not up to par. First, there were 10 chairs per table which made it very cramped. They should have done 8 per table. Secondly, it was freezing upon arriving and we had to inform them to turn on the heat. (Only 35-40 degrees outside). Lastly, the drinks at the “bar” were horrible. I spoke to the “bartender” and asked how many ounces of liquor was added into this drink (12 oz cup)? She stated 1 oz. Keep in mind drinks are $9. I laughed and told her there should be 2 ounces of liquor. If not, it will taste just like juice. I’m not sure if they are trying to cut cost or if they just their liquor license and not truly a bartender. It could possibly be both. My family members all complained and had to order an extra shot. (Another $9) My recommendation would be fix your drinks and in return your guest would order more than one drink which would increase your sales.

If you plan on attending an event here, I highly suggest you pregame before cooking. Outside drinks are not allowed. A cup of water and soda are $2 a piece.

It was our first time visiting the Royal Palace Event Center for my tias beautiful birthday.

Holy cow there was so much parking in the back. As soon as you come inside there’s a hallway we’re security checks you. The bathrooms were very modern and up to date.

There was a bartender where you pay. Massive amount of space to display your food, desert table, entertainment, and plenty of tables and seating for everyone to enjoy their meal comfortably.

If you’re looking to host your next event I highly recommend this venue! I had such a great time with family and friends! 🥰❤️😘

I had my wedding reception at the Royal Palace very nice. There are several Hall rooms you can reserve that are much bigger on the inside than you would think that is looking from the outside. If you're looking for a nice place to have an event you must check it out I promise you will not be disappointed. Phil would be the person to talk to when reserving Plenty of parking.
