ALDI — Local services in Jonesboro

This small grocery store is not as bad as I was told by some and I'm glad I did not listen to them previously. They don't carry a lot of name brand products although they do carry some but most of the products are their own store brands. The price is very reasonable and the quality is really not bad at all. The produce is a nice section and after the remodel I like that they have better organized the store and this section specifically. The freezer section also appears to be bigger and more robust after the remodel, which isn't a bad thing at all. The other sections of the store are good too. You do have to lease a cart for a quarter and pay for your own bags of course neither of these are requirements and you can bring your own bags if you want or use boxes within the store. I still go in there to buy some things @ a good price.. But I got 2 air mattress back in the summer,, ( I really like sleeping on air,, I use my old water bed frame to put it in ) they had a good price on them back in the summer so I got 2 of them cause u never know when you could wake up on a flat.. None of them last forever.. When it came time to use them both got a hole in them in the same place after about 2 or maybe 3 day's of useing them.. They wouldn't take them back cause I didn't have my receipt even with me having the box & the new air bed smell.. As far as I know,, know one around here sells that brand I got.. This Aldi is big enough they have almost everything we need on a regular basis, and their prices can't be beat. Their staff is also very kind, patient and helpful. Their produce is generally good quality, and their dairy items are tasty (we're picky about our milk and theirs is great and about half the price of competitors'). Don't be afraid of the "Aldi" brands of things -- they're generally either a good fake or better than the on-brand version you're used to.
