Purchased a new sofa, loveseat, and recliner from Michael and Allan at the Jonesboro store. Michael was great to work with. Allan was great until we got our new furniture home and set up on Saturday June, 8 2024. Immediately the left side recliner portion of the sofa would not come out or recline. I called the store and spoke to the manager Allan. I told him the problem and ask about swapping out ours for another new one since we hadn't even had it a day. He said they didn't have one in the store but he would call the Batesville, AR store on Monday and let us know something. He said I'd have to bring it back up to the store to swap out. I told him I DO NOT believe it should be the customers responsibility to take apart and load up the furniture to take back to the store. Then haul it back home to have to unload it and set it back up again. It is now Friday June 14, 2024 and I've called the store everyday and ask for Allan and he has been out of the store and one day was off work. I left messages for him to call me back. Six days since the formal complaint to Allan and he never once touched base with me to update me on what was going on. My wife called the Batesville store and was told they have the sofa we have in stock. When my wife asked if Allan had called to inquire about having one sent to Jonesboro, they said no he hasn't called. When I called on Monday to speak with Allan I told the salesperson that we now were having the same issue with our loveseat and that I needed Allan to call me back. I go to the store today to speak with Allan and I ask him when had he planned on calling me back to let me know something. He said, "I don't know anything, so I didn't call you back". Allan could have had the common courtesy on Monday or even Tuesday to call me and say, I'm working on locating you a sofa but haven't found one yet. Instead he leaves me hanging for nearly a week without an update. Why do people not have the common courtesy to keep their customers in the loop of what's going on. When I told Allan he could have let me know what was going on and that I didn't appreciate that he got hateful with me. Of course I explained to him that I'm the customer and I'm NOT going to put up with his attitude. Initially, Allan told me he'd call the Batesville store and just have them come swap out the sofa at my house. But, after he became irritated with me just wanting to be updated, he let me know real quick how he was doing me a favor to have them come swap the sofa out with me. I told Allan that I would be lodging a formal complaint with the corporate office. Allan's exact words, "Go Ahead" I will be...
Read moreBEWARE: While the sales I found during shopping and the purchase experience were good, the delivery and set up experience has been terrible. Initially, I was told my delivery would be after noon the following day, but probably closer to 2 PM.
I received a call at 4 PM from the driver saying they were on the way. They spent two hours attempting to assemble my bed. The driver said that he needed to get his helper back to the store so the helper could go to another job and the rest of my order would be delivered the next day. The rest of my order was a dresser with a mirror, a chest, a living room chair, and a loveseat type sofa. After they left, I called the store and basically pitched a fit because I had to leave town to go to my job the next day and could not wait for them to finish my delivery.
They returned that night and delivered the rest of my furniture with the exception of installing the mirror on my dresser. They assured me that someone would be out at 11 AM the following day to install my mirror, which, of course did not happen.
After finding a bag of hardware and two wood pieces left behind, I did a closer inspection of my bed, I realized several additional internal support pieces of my bed were missing and the bag of hardware was a significant number of bolts and screws that had not been installed thus leaving the bed very unstable.
At this point I have installed the mirror myself, added supplemental support pieces from Home Depot, and installed the remaining hardware to give the bed the necessary stability.
The whole experience has left me, wondering why I paid a delivery and set up fee. It seems I would’ve been better off assembling the bed myself instead of paying the...
Read moreI am a 1st time home owner, new to many experiences that I was not prepared for. After living in a duplex for 16 years, I can say it was surreal as well as nerve wrecking attempting to start over with furniture for the whole house. ZACH FULLER is truly excellent at what he does. He was extremely patient, realizing that I was there without an actual plan. He got information on the structure of our new home, and was able to help us with the right furniture to make the new house we purchased a home. He knew all the answers, was very knowledgeable with the types of furniture and made sure that the ensemble purchased would look amazing and yet be on one accord with our scheme. I know this is a long message but I want you to know the kind of employee you have, and that I have begun to encourage as many as possible to go to this establishment, not necessarily because of the product but because of Zach Fuller and his ability to connect with the customers and guide them. This experience made it so easy for my wife and I as well as our children, to walk into our newly furnished home. My ONLY regret was that we did not have the limit on the FFO card to purchase the amazing table that would have completed our masterpiece that he set up for us, but just receiving a phone call from my wife who stopped by, Zach has gone above and beyond, finding us something that is amazing and affordable. This is what he does. WoW. Please let Zach Fuller know that we are grateful and humble for him making our, mind you, 1st visit to FFO an amazing one. I pray for success in your company and that Zach is able to definitely reap the full benefits that your company has to offer. Thank you and have a...
