Update 6/20/23 After waiting for 30 min at the Johnson Sonic today only to be ignored, i drove here to see if i could finally get what i was craving. I was waiting behind a car that i thought was stalled out right at the Sonic Race street entrance but i wasn't on Sonic property, i was still on Race street in traffic, a truck comes up on my bumper and now I'm bumper-to-bumper sandwiched perpendicularly between this black car and a half-time truck behind me on a busy road. I got nervous so i honked to let the car in front of me know that i was coming around on her left side, my intention was to go straight and just get out of the way since I was technically in the Sonic Exit lane, blocking the exit. That's when i came face-to-face with a white SUV trying to leave, i could not advance bc they had the right-of-way. That's when i realized the girl in the car was waiting on a vehicle that was exiting the stall. I decided to follow the vehicle out and around to the other side of the building. I'm positive the girl in the black car thought that 1.) I honked bc i was mad, impatient or otherwise just rude and 2.) I was going to take the spot that she had been waiting for. But she was wrong! I had no intention of doing that. I was just trying to get out of moving traffic and then subsequently trying to fix a mini traffic jam that i had accidentally created in the Sonic parking lot. When i got in front of her and kept going, she honked and started yelling then she sped and followed me around to the other side, honking, yelling (i could see that she was mad in my rearview) and speeding in the parking lot, i pulled into a stall and she continues honking and giving me the bird and mouthing to me. I just did the "I'm sorry 😬" wave and she stopped and made sure i knew she was definitely mad at me then drove on around. I got my drink, put it in my drink holder and pulled away and that's when i realized that the girl had parked in the back and was actually an employee so if you think i drove home, poured it out and Just drank good ol water you are absolutely right!

Read moreThis location on race St and red wolf Blvd... The night manager name Autumn has poor customer service skills.. I called with a complaint and she was very rude.. And honestly I got rude right back with her. I was overcharged...I asked for a carhop classic combo for $2.99.. And she charged me for a #1 combo... I called and asked for a manager.. She came to the phone... She acted as if she didn't believe me.. I told her I have my receipt.. And all I wanted was the difference.. she began to question me as if I was a THEIF... Do you have a receipt... I said yes... We only have one carhop on duty... So who was your carhop...I said I'm not sure I think a male.... Then she said well I need to know so I can know who to ask for your money.. I said.. ma'am if you only have one carhop on duty.. Then you know who my carhop was.. And I have my receipt..I read you everything on my receipt... With that info.. You can tell who my carhop was... She then got smart and rudely told me to call the store manager and hung up the damn phone.. that had me heated... So I calmed myself down. I called back..I spoke to an employee first and I asked for the store managers name.. she gave me Latisha Waters.. then I asked to speak back to Autumn and I said to Autumn.. that our previous conversation went the Wrong direction... And I apologized for my part.. And I told her she has horrible customer service skills.. and I should not have to go through all of this just to get my order correct.. I told her she was rude and combative for no reason.. then I hung up..I went up there and got a refund.. ordered the correct combo..paid for my food and tipped the carhop and thanked her for being kind and having good customer service... She obviously didn't get that from Autumn... I won't be returning to this Sonic. And that's sad that this is not the only Sonic in Jonesboro with horrible customer service.. All OF THEM HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... BUT IF I HAD TO RECOMMEND ONE... THE ONE ON PARKER RD... YOU WILL HAVE YOUR BEST CHANCES OF GETTING GOOD SERVICE DURING...
Read moreThey are friendly,that's for sure and they trying hard to get everything right and even when they make mistakes they try to reimburse you. The reason why I give only 3 stars is that they get orders wrong plenty times lol and sometimes they don't reimburse you for that at all ( free drink or snack) specially when you had to wait for a long time and your order is finally coming and you have to send it back cause it's completely wrong and you wait again. I would say the issue is that there are many new employees all the time. They sure could use more trained staff but that is a Sonic issue for those who are responsible like management not the little employee itself I guess. But in general they are way better then many other Sonic facilities I visited.
