When we entered a lady was asked to clean our table then we where seated I noticed a buger on table and there was still food and I asked for the table to be recleaned after recleaning it a second time I saw still food and the buger stuck to side of table I just slid over to not embarrass my mother. We ordered cowboy pork chops salad and baked potatoes me and mom share pork chops since there's 3 When waitress brings salads and sets down on table I reach over to put mine in front of me and notice bowl has dried up food stuck to bottom and black stuff on bottom definitely not clean so I asked for manager and she came said she was sorry and went and made me new salad then our food came out and I asked her for an extra plate the manager said I will get you one. Came back and handed it to me and I said excuse me mam this plate is also dirty and has food on it she says I'm sorry I will get you another one. By this point I'm turned off worried that I'm going to get sick eating here. When manager gets back with plate I tell her I'm upset and she say they just got a new washing machine she doesn't know why dishes a not getting clean I said we'll as the manager you should washing dishes in a restaurant is a four step process 1rinse 2 wash 3 sanitize and 4 dry and put up and someone doesn't care to do that job correctly. Also I said with a restaurant with many dinning at this time the chances of me personally getting 2 dirty dishes at one table at 2 different times tells me that the other patrons are also eating on dirty dishes she said the next time we come in come see her and she would make sure it was perfect. Then we where given a bill no discount or anything so I paid my bill tipped my waitress by the way was the only good part of our experience brought home the food and gave it to dog. I would never recommend recommend Jonesboro Longhorn to anyone you could get sick from...
Read moreI'm on disability so I don't go here often but the last time I went I wanted to take my little girl out for her birthday. I told her anywhere she wanted to eat. She said longhorn so that's where we went. I didn't eat because I didn't have the money for longhorn. Long story short by the time they were done ordering it was all the money I had. She had mentioned it was her birthday and the waiter brought us out a cake which her and the other kids split. I got the bill and it was about $20 more than I thought it would be. So I gave the waiter all the money I had to my name it ended up being enough to cover it with a quarter left. So as we are going out the door I hear someone hollering sir. Our waiter chased me down hollering at me to hand me my quarter. Obviously mad because I didn't tip him more. I said no keep it with my kids looking at us confused and he pushes it in closer and says no you obviously need it more than me. By this time my kids are embarrassed and I couldn't even be mad at him. I normally tip these people at least $50. I get that he wanted a tip but to run hollering at me holding out this quarter and then embarrassing my kids by loudly making it as public as he could that I left him a quarter for a tip. Dude I gave you every cent I had not even knowing if I had the gas in my vehicle to make it home . I don't know what to say but I would have given you more if I had it. But you did this so wrong and you should seriously think about the way you handle situations like this in the future. So if my little girl remembers this birthday meal and her other siblings. I'm sure they will remember you embarrassing them because their father didn't have enough money to treat 4 kids to a birthday meal pay bills and leave you a big enough tip with his...
Read moreThis was the 2nd time I've eaten at Longhorn in Jonesboro, AR. The first time, the steak was seasoned so spicy that I couldn't eat it at all! I ate my salad, bread and sides and just dealt with it. We live 1 1/2 hours away so I didn't want to wait for them to redo everything, especially when it was packed and we had waited 30 minutes or more to be seated. This time, I asked that they season it with anything other than the house spice or not at all.. so it wasn't spicy. However, it was horrible! Now I'm steak savvy. We have bought sleeves directly from Cargill, aged them ourselves and all that... This steak, a ribeye, was not restaurant grade. It wasn't cooked properly. My son and I both ordered medium rare. I got a medium well and most of his, also a ribeye, was well done. The worst part, it tasted like it was close to spoiled. Again, I know about aging and I know that the fatty parts will get a strong flavor if ahead out, but this was more than that I ordered broccoli as my side and it was undercooked, as well. My son's girlfriend had undercooked french fries that we're just mush inside. I was really disappointed. Our entire meal left us wishing we had gone elsewhere. I don't believe I'll give them a 3rd chance and my Son probably won't either. Our check with the 15% tip was $90 and it was all a total waste. Just really upsetting and it was a birthday dinner for my Son's girlfriend......
