Adam & Eve Stores — Local services in Joplin

I will probably never come back to the store not because of what they sell or the quality of their product but the experience I got instead of shopping in such a discreet store And making my experience enjoyable as their motto seems to say I had an awkward conversation with the clerk. I don’t know if they were the manager or what but she was heavier set. It’s kind of a test I do before I buy anything in any store let alone. A local store I’ll ask a clerk if they want to hear a joke or something like that just to see if they’re have conversation with me not necessarily about the joke. I just wanna see if they have conversation instead of a conversation. I got a judgmental tone and an answer. I don’t really wanna hear a joke, but you can tell me if you want like something that would come from a “Karen.” So this is me putting out a review for everybody to hear if you want something at the store by all means go and buy it if you want, but don’t expect the staff to be courteous or polite or nice expect only judgment, awkward conversation and the bare minimum...

Very rude and snarky female employee… the male is nice with good customer service

Came in on July 14th around 2 pm with my girlfriends to shop for new heels and maybe even new outfits if we saw anything cute. We walk in to shop and get ID’d (no big deal it’s the law I get it) some other customers come in and they don’t get followed across the store like we did asking for an ID. My girlfriend noticed and said something to me and laughed in which the female employee heard and starts saying snarky rude comments out loud “it’s just my job” I understand it’s your job and you failed to do it, didn’t say that though. I kept quiet and tried to continue shopping when she continues to state how she’s kicked many customers out of a dispensary she used to work at and is essentially threatening to kick us out. We then left and as we’re leaving she states “thanks for gandering”…we had every intention on buying new outfits and heels until her snarky...

Grey was our cashier and helped us out a lot! They greeted us as soon as we came into the store and checked on us several times. Grey asked if we needed/wanted recommendations (we did 😂) I needed a new toy cleaner and while they didn't have the one I wanted, Grey showed me a couple other brands that are close to the same as I had, if not better! They let me into a fitting room and was there waiting when I came back out. Grey was very friendly and shared a couple of their personal preferences as well when I shared mine. Grey is definitely a top notch salesperson and I hope that they are there for a long time; Grey has my return business for sure! My boyfriend and I couldn't have been happier with...
