Culture of condescension! I recently had two extremely poor experiences with Jensen's Jewelers after having been a customer with them for several years. The first experience was at the Kalispell store. I accompanied a friend to get her ring cleaned and when she gave it to the salesperson, they inspected it. They informed her that her service plan had expired, claimed that they "would have sent a letter and called" yet could not provide us with any dates or times of this alleged communication, quoted her price of over $500 in repairs and offered nothing to acknowledge that she has been a loyal customer for a long time. We were dealing with a male salesperson And when my friend questioned the date and time of correspondence they claim to have sent, a female employee left the customer she was helping to insert herself into my friend's conversation with the mail salesperson and repeat the exact same thing he had just said but in an extremely rude and condescending manner. We are then told to come back the next day to discuss this with the manager. When my friend return the next day, she was met by an incredibly unprofessional manager who then quoted her $1,000 for the repairs and then "after speaking to corporate" said that they would knock it down to $520 to keep their customer happy. That was the same price that the man had quoted the night before with no discount! After my friend got nowhere with the manager, I called Jensen's corporate office in Idaho. I was transferred to a man who made it very clear that a culture of condescension and unprofessionalism is Jensen standard. He interrupted me every time I spoke, was argumentative and had a terrible attitude. Even if they weren't going to do anything to help, they could have at least had a nice tone and used friendly words and upheld the basics of customer service. When I explained that my friend was going through breast cancer at the time they allegedly tried to contact her about her service plan expiring, absolutely no reaction. No words of empathy or well wishes. Despite having been long time customers of Jensen's, based on these experiences neither my friend or I will ever use their company again and will spread the message to everyone we interact with to go to any other...
Read moreI am so pleased with this store. Brayden and Trish helped my husband and I find the perfect ring. We found a 1 ct, very good quality, diamond ring and band for the most affordable price I could have ever imagined. We saved so much money that my husband got a new ring too. :-). The customer service was amazing. Brayden and Trish made us feel like we were the only customer even though the store was busy. They were very knowledgeable and not pushy, infact, we even went home to think on it overnight and felt no pressure. We financed the jewelry without any problems. (They have in-house financing which is amazing) My ring was promised to me tomorrow (it was being sized and soldered) I ended up getting it today so it was a day early and the work was flawless. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND THESE TWO PEOPLE!!!!! If I could rate it more than 5...
Read moreI purchased an engagement ring and protection plan. At the time, I was reassured by the sales associate that the protection plan was the way to go if there were complications. I was told it covered repair, cleaning, and secured a fair return policy if it didn’t work out. I overpaid for the transaction, after finding out the protection plan does not include “extended return policy”. I was deceived into paying for every bell and whistle, after explaining my concern prior to purchase. I wouldn’t have purchased the ring that day, but was reassured that I had nothing to worry about. I learned the hard way, don’t believe what you hear. I am beyond let down. As a business, I would expect the associate to communicate business standard. I wouldn’t have even bought the protection plan in the first place if it wasn’t a true concern at time...
