Pho-nomenal Experience: A Local Gem with Room to Grow Review: I've been a fan of Pho 888 since their doors opened a few years ago, and it's amazing to see how they've maintained the quality and service over time. On my last visit, I have to give a shout-out to the service - absolutely great! A particular waitress caught my attention with her shy smile when I complimented her service. It was a charming moment that added to the warm atmosphere. The store itself is clean, and the interior decoration gives off a welcoming vibe with local photos on display. It's these little touches that make Pho 888 stand out as a local gem. As for the pho, it's truly satisfying, although I must admit, there's a slight inconsistency. Depending on the day, it seems they switch cooks, and the freshness of the veggies can vary. There were a couple of occasions when the pho wasn't served piping hot, which is crucial for those raw toppings to reach their perfect state within the broth. However, I noticed an improvement during my last visit, so kudos to the team for constantly trying to better the experience. I will definitely be frequenting Pho 888 more often after the recent improvements. If they can keep up with ensuring the pho is hot every time and the veggies are always fresh, my rating might just nudge up to a full five stars on my next review! Keep up the good work, and see...
Read moreLet my preface by saying I am Asian/American and have had pho here in the U.S. many times. DISLIKES: At 888 Pho I experienced a severe lack of flavor. They cut the fat off the brisket so don't expect that full bodied flavor you can associate with brisket pho. And those "meatballs" were nasty. The "fried" rice is an Asian travesty! It was rice with stir-fry dropped on top. If I wanted stir-fry I would have ordered that instead. I have never not eaten rice from anywhere I ordered so this was a 1st. A small dish with a squirt of hot chilli, hoison and saracha all together are given instead of separate dishes or bottles. As I waited for the waitress to come by to ask for more sauces the 2nd hostess brings me my check. I was so upset because I didn't even get to start eating my pho. Tell me to enjoy my food and whenever I'm ready you can bring me my bill. Likes: The appetizers I tried were good. The seafood wontons were full and crunchy with a nice sweet, pinapple dipping sauce. The fried eggrolls were crispy with a light fishsauce for dippi g. Our 1st waitress was very kind and welcoming. The...
Read moreWe visited Pho 888 during our trip to Kalispell, Montana while visiting Glacier National Park. We arrived around 1:30 PM and found it to be quite empty with only a few people. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed and offering suggestions. They were accommodating with our orders. We tried the vegetarian egg rolls, which were decent, similar to fried rolls. The bao bun with pork was good, but had a lot of dough compared to the filling. We also ordered two sizes of veggie and tofu pho. The broth was a bit bland, but had plenty of vegetables, so it wasn't too bad. Overall, the food was decent, but the hospitality...
