Extremely rude owner! We brought in a prom dress to be altered. I was unable to attend with my daughter because they close at 4 and I was still at work. I figured it would be fine, the dress really only needed to be taken up because it fit perfectly with the exception of the length. She went to pick up the dress and told me it was really tight so she tried it on when I got home and I could not get the dress to even zip up. The top hook on the dress pulled apart it was so tight. I called and took off work early to go in with my daughter this time. She asked what was wrong with the dress and I was telling her how it does not fit at all anymore. She said, well, it does fit because it zip’s. (She was not there for any of the fittings, she only did the sewing of the dress) I tried telling her, no, that’s what I’m trying to tell you, it doesn’t zip. The owner started calling me Momzilla told me she was going to make me wait in the car if I didn’t stop! I was appalled!! I was not confrontational, I was upset because we spent a lot of money on this dress and then paid her $160 and it fit better BEFORE we took it there. It was so tight I wasn’t sure there was even enough material left to let it out enough to fit her. When she took my daughter to try on the dress, she also could NOT get it zipped. When we picked up the dress the second time, she would not even show her face to us. The dress was still snug, but at least she can still wear it. Personally, I believe she should have been the one to come out the second time and make sure it fit but she did not. Bottom line, NOT THE PERFECT FIT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND!
