Owners were hypocritical. I have been patronizing for a while now. But 2day was my Last Visit. I spoke with husband and wife just to make sure my Flounder did not have blemishes. My totaled was $100. I went outside at the car what should been a 15 minute service turn an Hour. They said they didn't know if I was coming back but They could clearly see me at my vehicle. Now they want be argumentive and nasty. Then on top they wanted me to pay 1st But they had an Asian man who was there way b4 I came in and his totaled was over 200 but the owners let him pay at the end and the Asian man kept requesting things another bag more ice another clam because what he had already was no good. But no they were just as happy with him. Then me, my fish mins you still not ready and they want me to pay upfront. No, I did not pay upfront waited 2 make sure my fish was not damaged...You lost a good paying customer because all I get was Flounder, Trout and sometimes trigger fish. Read moreYesterday May 26th was my first visit to this market . I had a taste for live crab my mom was in from out of town and that’s our thing we love live crab. I have been eating live crabs since a young child i know how they are supposed to taste and smell. The crabs were bad. They smelled horrible after cooking them and the meat was a different color on the inside. I spent 52$ for 2 doezen. We could maybe eat 7. I called and told them what was happening very polite not nasty at all. The guy told me he don’t know what to tell me and hung up on me. Which is very rude and unprofessional. I could have been offered a credit or atleast half my money back. After he hung up I called back several more times he refused to answer. That’s not how you do business! Seafood is the last food that u want to get sick off of. I will never spend another dime . 1st impressions are...
Read moreSuch beautiful selection of salmon! They are plump/firm, very very fresh smell and not at all fishy, and the shop environment was easy. There was a line (this should be expected at any fresh fish/meat market) but it went by fast. Not once did I feel overlooked. The gentleman at the register was not only kind, and well informed - but he help me with offering advice on how to prepare sashimi (raw fish.) so I got the salmon belly for it and immediately took it home to create the Brine that gentleman suggested. I am very excited. As someone who knows fish and its safety standards I can say, I am very impressed by the freshness and quality of the salmon I got. It is HUGE, THICK, and HEAVY. I got it for under $40 which is such a steal. I’ve paid more for less!
10/10 so happy it’s 6 mins...
