Order taking: The one who answered the phone seemed like he was having a hard time speaking English, which wouldn't have been so bad if he had good customer service skills. He could not read the order back to me, and sang a song about Singapore noodles but never added it to the order. He didn't ask for the name for the order either.

Order consistency: A lady was asking for a refund because they charged her extra for a sauce that she claimed comes with the order and claimed they normally give her extra sauce for free ($1.5 for a small 2oz sample cup).

Broken promises: The order taker asked me if I would like two free drinks, but only presented one at checkout (probably left over from an order that got canceled).

False advertisement pictures: The lomein picture shows nice slices of carrots and darkened fried Lomein. Undercooked lomein and shredded carrots instead....

Missing item: The Singapore noodles.

Price: Too expensive in my opinion, but kind of standard for a restaurant.

Appearance: The inside of this place looks nice enough from the front door. Unfortunately, the lack of service and the lack of a door greeter/waiter makes it feel like expensive cover over a cheap restaurant.

Trickery?: There is another Google maps entry for this restaurant that is 4.0 stars (this entry was 4.5 stars). They probably saw the down trend and made a new entry with fake reviews to boost themselves back up, but who knows. Maybe there is a good explaination.

Table availability: If you have nowhere else to eat, they don't have people in their restaurant so there is always a seat. No reservation required!

Conclusion: I'm never going...

We were in Kannapolis exploring their new downtown and after reading reviews of local restaurants decided to try this newly opened Asian restaurant. So glad this was what we decided on. Not only are the owners extremely nice, the food is above and beyond. We started with garden rolls with avacado, great choice - so fresh and healthy and the peanut sauce is yummy. For dinner we decided to try three dishes - Coconut Noodle (Burmese style) with Chicken, Myanmar Spicy Fried Rice with Pork and Massaman Curry with Chicken. The first main dish out was the Coconut Noodle. It was so different & delicious. Although it has coconut, it was not extremely sweet, the flavors all worked amazing together. Next up was the Massaman Curry, served with white rice on the side, filled with lots of potato (I love potato in my curry...), veggies and chicken. The curry sauce was delicious! Last but not least, the Massaman fried rice - my husband loves fried rice and this was in his top 2 of all time. The smokey flavor was perfection. We had lots of leftovers and we are so glad we do because we can't wait to have our kids try all these dishes. With a recent trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore, we are always looking for Southeast Asian restaurants so we will be back again! Can't wait to try to Pho, Tom Yum, Mango Sticky...

I’ve been here about 6 times since they recently opened. Out of those 6 visits in about 6 weeks, there was one time I was less than satisfied with my food, but I still give them 5 stars. I absolutely call it a fluke considering every other time my food has been excellent, and well above par compared to other Asian options in the area.

I love their variety - they have Thai, sushi, and Chinese dishes, as well as many other options. I particularly enjoy their pad Thai, spicy tuna roll, and their green curry. My husband loves the pineapple fried rice, and my kid enjoyed the kid’s ramen. I love that their kid’s menu is not just chicken nuggets and fries, although that is also an option for the picky little ones. My kids are more adventurous eaters, so it’s nice to have other options available to them in the appropriate portion size.

Aside from the food, the service is wonderful! The owner and her associates are always so kind and friendly, and you can tell how deeply proud she is of cooking fresh and delicious food for her customers. I am writing this as I’m mulling over what to order tonight lol. I’m glad they’re in the area and am happy to...
