French Express Coffee is HANDS DOWN the best coffee house in town! They are the friendliest bunch , I consider them extended family at this point! The coffee? It is roasted to perfection. Bring your dog in, talk with a friend on the couch, draw on the wall, is a gigantic chalkboard. Or, sit outside and munch on fresh,YUMMY baked goods. All the while savoring each sip of a lovely robust coffee. Did I forget to mention the selection of chai teas, green teas, healthy smoothies? I cannot recall all of the drinks. Not so many that it’s impossible to choose and I like this fact! I have yet to find anything that comes close to matching FRENCH COFFEE EXPRESS and I am not referring to proximity!! Since I brought up proximity I ll add in “I feel lucky to have another FRENCH EXPRESS COFFEE HOUSE in China Groove. My personal favorite part about this communal establishment!!?Hard to choose yet from a business stance?Consistency is 💯 💯 💯! All employees work both stores( most employees) so the consistency which is one of the three most important ingredients in the food industry, is stellar! Number one? Consistency, my friends and the second? And boy are they consistent! Every,single,coffee I have had from French Express is like the one before, just the way I like it! 2021 Edit!: So, with the pandemic local businesses now more than ever need support. This place has been nothing short of a lifesaver for me. Back in October I got diagnosed with Cancer. Ever since then me and my old man try to stop by at least once a week after my treatment to get coffee in the morning. The staff and people that work the drive thru have been absolutely amazing. It's never expensive and they are always, ALWAYS friendly. It's something I can look forward to to keep me going. I come to this coffee shop almost every day and usually it's a great experience followed by great coffee, however that was not the case today. A man with black hair and a yellow shirt was running drive thru when I drove up him and another worker we're doing something I went to grab my money out of my purse and was waiting to be acknowledged by staff before speaking, next thing the man asked do you guys need some time? I said no I'm ready I was waiting on you guys. I said nobody said anything to me he goes actually I did with a not so nice tone. I said oh sorry I didn't hear you.
