Amy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Kansas City

Hallmark gift and card shop located in Creekwood Commons at N.Oak and Englewood Rd, on the SW end between T-Mobile and Diagnostic Imaging. I'm not what you call much of a Hallmark type, but I stopped in here to waste a little bit of time one evening and was pleasantly surprised. I was not upsold anything I didn't need, but instead ended up striking up a rather friendly conversation that kept me in the store browsing long enough to make a purchase that I would never would have made otherwise. Hunter and Teresa were both absolutely lovely, lovely people. They were friendly and chatted while I browsed (there was no one else in the store) and then I watched as a lovely young mother came in to purchase a gift for her daughter and Teresa was absolutely wonderful with her. I ended up with a couple of things that I just love. Frankly, I probably could have gotten something similar online for cheaper, but I wouldn't have had that experience. Consider me a Hallmark girl...

UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE TO CHANGE MY REVIEW, In the past this store has provided excellent customer service and has been very friendly, My family spends A LOT on Christmas ornaments and other products from this store every year and in the past when an item has not been available at this location they were very helpful in locating it. A 30 second phone call would have prevented the lose of a customer from this location. We will not return to this location under its current management. Luckily the Crown Center location is where the helpful staff member relocated to so we will be going there from now on.

My daughter & I stopped by the store this evening, both ladies were awesome. Anna did me a huge favor. We're going to the Christmas Convention tomorrow to see the Hallmark stars & I couldn't find my Christmas Hallmark reusable bag. (Buried in my basement storage). Anna found one in the back for me! Deb is a pure delight! Anna also personally escorted my daughter to the Just Because card section, which shows that these two go above and beyond for their customers. We promised to return next Friday night to give them an update on the convention. We're definitely Team...
