I want to preface this review saying that normally I LOVE the buckle. Their selection is great and i was so excited to see that we now have one in Liberty. I went there for the first time today to look around. I was there for a while so I had to take my scarf and coat off because i got hot. I did it in plain sight of an employee and put my scarf in my bag and mentioned being hot so she would know it was my stuff. I continued to look around. I was approached by an employee shortly after and told me to give their product back and get it out of my bag. I grabbed my scarf out and showed her that it was the one i came in wearing and i handed her my purse and told her to look through it. I was very offended to say the least. I nicely mentioned that I would not be getting the pile of jewelry I had made on the shelf so that they could put it up. The girl who approached me did apologize (not very nicely or sincerely I might add). I have never been treated like this and I am very upset. That is the first and only time I will ever go in there. They have lost a loyal customer.
I did want to add that I completely understand that there are a lot of people that try to steal stuff and that there is a need to protect the items in your store. Which is why I made my pile of jewelry on a seperate table and didn't carry it around with me so as to never give anyone a reason to think I'm stealing. (LOL ironic)... but there was a much better way to approach the subject on her end. I would have been completely ok if she came and just apologized that someone saw me put something in my bag and that it is just procedure to look in it. I would have immediately let her look without another thought and we all could have continued on at the store. But instead she rudely came over and bluntly accused me of stealing and told me to give her the (nonexistant) product back which was embarassing and offensive. Someone in her position should have more knowledge about conflict resolution and how to handle situations with maturity and tact in order to maintain a positive atmosphere and relationships with their clients. Hopefully this review can help change the way things are done there for...
Read moreMy work jeans were starting to wear out and I was having to pull them up about every ten seconds, so I went into the buckle to get new jeans. I ended up needing to get them tailored and they told me that they would definitely be ready by Tuesday, but on Sunday I had an eleven hour shift at work so I decided to stop by The Buckle around 10:40 am before my shift that started at 11am to see if I could pick up the jeans before I went into work. I did not want to be pulling my jeans up all the time at an 11 hour shift on a super busy day as it was father’s day. I pulled into the parking lot and looking at the doors I could tell that the buckle was not open yet, but I wasn’t sure if it would be opening soon. I asked a girl who looked like she was getting ready to go into work if she worked there and she said yes that girl was Maddisen. I asked l Maddisen what time they opened and she told me not until 12 am. I said awe man and told Maddisen my situation. Instead of just thinking this isn’t my problem and the store isn’t even open yet Maddisen said “Just give me five minutes I will go get them for you!” with a smile on her face. Then Maddisen proceeded to run into the store and grab my jeans for me without me even asking and even ran them out to my car all right before my shift started. Maddisen was so nice to me and didn’t seem put out at all by my situation, she genuinely seemed happy to help me and empathetic. Just that small act of kindness by Maddisen meant so much to me and helped me so much throughout my work shift. It was probably the most stressful day of my life but at least I wasn’t pulling up my jeans every ten seconds and I didn’t have to worry about that thanks to Maddisen going...
Read moreWhen my dad and I walked in to the buckle we had no what we were gonna get or even what we were looking for. One lady asked us if we were looking for anything specific and we said no, a few minutes later this worker named Maddisen came up and asked us if we were looking for jeans, I said yes. She asked me what my jean size was. We just guessed and she took control. We gave her a number and she said she would be right back with a few pairs of jeans, after a few minutes we thought she had forgot about us because she was talking to other people, but then she walked up to us and handed me some jeans and we went to the changing room. AfterI tried on a few pairs of jeans that me amd my dad both liked I asked for some regular shirts, and she just kept on bringing shirts and and sweaters and goodies. I was so thankful that I didn't even have to do anything because I wouldn't have picked any if the stuff Maddisen picked out. Thank you buckle and Maddisen for the best experience we've...
