My sister-in-law and I took our husbands' brother to look for a tux rental for prom a couple weeks ago. It was a bit busy, but we understood it's prom season so it was to be expected. We didn't know the process of renting a tux so we were hoping for some help. There were about three associates who walked by us without asking if we needed any assistance (they were probably helping other customers so it was no biggie). I'm sure my eyes were shouting "Help! I'm clueless" lol anyway, I finally went over to a table where I saw most of the customers with teen boys gathering at (I assumed they were also renting tuxes for prom) Some of them were filling out paperwork but after reading a few lines on the sheet, it seemed like it was the actual order form and we were still just shopping around and needed more info before completing that form. I finally went to the register where two associates were standing. One of the men asked me if we'd been helped yet and I told him we had not. He directed us to a younger associate by the tables. He started to help us and seemed really friendly but then a family walked by who recognized him and he started to chat them up and just completely ignored us. After about five minutes of him conversing with this family, my sister-in-law and I just looked at each other like, "really?". I made eye contact with a female associate nearby and quickly walked over to her and asked for help. She was extremely helpful. She showed us a chart with the different styles of tuxes and told me their prices and also explained the process of rental to me. She was very friendly and kind. We told her we were still comparing prices and styles with other locations and that we'd come back if my brother-in-law decided on a style they carried. (**Update: We found a place nearby that carried a style my brother-in-law liked so we ended up not returning to the store. Overall, if it wasn't for the kind girl who helped us, we wouldn't even...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Mens Wear Wearhouse, as a whole company, COMPLETELY dropped the ball for my wedding. Multiple of my groomsmen had to go in multiple times to get remeasured because "it didn't save in the system." Originally, I had not gone in to set up the account. We had done it over the phone. So I go in to Zona location to set up our account with the chosen colors, and once again, they screwed up and didn't save measurements for a couple of them. All different stores in the metro. They did give $25 off for that. Cool, no big deal, other than the fact they are taking time out of their day to fix your screw up. I picked up the suits as my husband was out of town working until the day before, along with a couple of other groomsmen. Fast forward to the day of, EVERY SINGLE SUIT WAS THE WRONG COLOR! Groomsmen were supposed to be dark grey with black shirts, while my husband was all black. Every groomsmen got black with black, except one that got a white shirt instead of a black shirt. While my husband's pants were GRAY and the rest of his suit black. Our sons suit was ENTIRELY too big, and another groomsmens was ENTIRELY TOO SMALL. Yes, they switched, and no, it still wasn't right. At that point, obviously, it's too late to fix anything. When I go to return the suits and express how completely and utterly unprofessional this was and how frustrating it was, the manager and another gentleman working at the Zona location on Sunday, we're understanding, and said they would look into it, and call me back Wednesday to give a partial refund and try to see where they went wrong. I have heard nothing, called to check on the situation with no call back and no solution. Just an email "Thanks for using Mens Wearhouse! " I highly recommend to everyone NOT to use this company. You're better off buying a suit and keeping it than...
Read moreDO NOT USE FOR WEDDINGS. One of the worst experiences possible as a groomsman. A multitude of issues occurred throughout our party starting with the groom prepaying for all of the rentals, but then multiple groomsmen being told they had to pay, and then that they could not do refunds. I came in for a measurement months before the wedding, and even told the employee my exact measurements as I wear dress clothes for work. She measured me, and 3 days before the wedding my suit was finally ready. Many of my sizes were wrong. Gave me a 36-37 shirt after telling her i wear 32-32, told her the exact vest size and was given a large one. Thankfully, they had replacements which I could pick up the day before the wedding which was nothing short of stressful. Multiple other groomsman had incorrect sizings, and worst of all the GROOM was told all of his sizes were somehow lost?? He was remeasured 3 days before his wedding and had to get his suit the day before. They totally forgot his tie, so he had to go buy a black tie prior to his wedding and not match the colors.
On top of all of this they have the horrendous policy that suits must be returned the day after the wedding, WHICH IS A SUNDAY, AND THEY CLOSE EARLY. After being unable to return due to the wedding and hotel being far out of town, then working the following days, I had to pay $45 for late fees.
All around a horrible experience for cheap ill-fitting tuxedos. Support local business and please never use...
