Amber’s Designs were Incredible in Designing our Engagement Ring for Valentines Day in 2025 From the first moment when I walked into the store, I loved the way that Amber heard exactly what I was saying and how she started drawing multiple different designs for me to choose from. This was after we had visited to many other jewelry stores - she was the first person that really listened to me. She was really creative and incorporated my ideas into the most amazing work of art which incredibly also included all of the gold and diamonds from my previous engagement ring, because I was remarrying my husband again after 36 years. Amy then managed the rest of the design process and was patient in keeping me updated, with two wax models of the ring as well as timing and tweaking of what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the Amber team. We wanted to reflect in our ring that this was a fresh start for us after 36 years, while also taking the best from before and building on that. It was also very important for us that we included symbols of our faith in the design, out of gratitude for the long, winding path we had walked. We also wanted to reflect the fresh start to our relationship, and so Amber’s sourced and selected new diamonds to enhance our new ring. Milgrain (where tiny metal beads are added to create an ornate border), enabled us to complete the vintage Art Deco style. By now you must be thinking, wow these people must have real money. By no means. The ring ended up costing a fraction of what we expected work of that caliber to have cost. Taking delivery of the ring was an amazing Friday Valentines evening. While we waited for the final polishing and milgrain, Amy showed us great options from their great collection of rings for wedding bands, for both of us, which they noted for us, for a future time. Then when the ring came out in a special box, they gave it to us, and he presented it to me and they took photos which Amber’s even posted on their website. As a safety precaution, on the way home the groom-to-be had to drive her car, because the bride-to-be could not stop looking...

My mom has come here since I was a little girl and it only seemed right that I had my wedding band made by Amber’s. I brought in my deceased Grandmother’s starburst ring (which had white gold, yellow gold, and 27 diamonds) to have it turned into my wedding band. I was told they would be able to melt down the white gold from her ring to make my band, and they would be able to use 26 of the diamonds leaving me with one extra. When I went to pick up the wedding band, the original mount from my granny’s ring was not with it, nor was the main diamond. I paid the full price in cash & should’ve gotten back close to $2 but received no change, which didn’t bother me at the time because I was so excited about the ring. When I asked where the original mount was, they told me they gave me $86 credit for it. The ring was 6.09 grams worth of gold, which should equal close to $385 fair market price, not $86. They ended up finding the ring & I paid them the $86 to get it back, and I noticed the white gold was still on the ring. Meaning, they did not melt it down into my wedding band as they had told me they would, and I never received a phone call informing me that this would not be a possibility. When I asked about the extra diamond, it seemed as though they were hoping I would forget & acted clueless. It took close to 30 minutes of them looking for the diamond in the back before finally bringing it to me. I’m not sure if this jewelry shop is merely sloppy and unorganized, or if there is a con being run out of this shop, but I hope they get it under control and no one has to go through the headache that I did. My family & I will no longer be using Ambers Fine Design for our future jewelry needs. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Sad to see this shop turn into...

I had my engagement ring sized down from a 7 to a 4. I mentioned that I would like the gold back, just in case, as that is a pretty sizable jump, and initially, they said it would be no problem. I had my fiancé pick up the ring, and the loose gold was not returned. I gave them a call thinking it was an honest mistake. I spoke to a woman named Dawn who was quite rude and accused me of not asking for the gold, saying they will only give it back when customers “actually ask for it back”… I’m honestly not sure what had set her off as I had been nothing but nice to her, even after her attitude. I suppose she was just having a rough day, but, look, I work in customer service. I know how stressful it can get, yet I have never spoken this way to a customer before—

I told her it was disappointing, but if they already melted or sold the gold, I would need store credit for the weight difference (or at least something!). Then, said she would give me a call back. I never got that call back (shocker).

It’s been several days. I’m incredibly disappointed at the service I received. Honestly, I wish I had not brought my ring here. They basically stole from me and made me pay for it. Really poor business practice and service all around.
