Today I was discriminated on within the store the security followed me in street clothing throughout the store several times to the point that a store customer told me not to go in there because they were following me !! I notified the store manager Danielle ( white woman) who said that security had a choice to follow who they wanted thru the store for any reason! I said no that is not proper so can you ask him to come over and tell me the reason he is following she never once apologized her next response is there anything I can help you with ( after she failed to help me )
Then I mixed my return from Walmart and target in a bag so I get up to the return center and I am told it was not on receipt they refused to give me my item back basically saying I stole it. I then contacted guest relations and told them Danielle said her staff took no item so I said call the police and pull the camera
Danielle then proceeded to say you stole those items off the sales floor because you never came into the store with anything ! I said ok so pull the camera and call the police Danielle refused and banned me from the store because I asked for my item back! I contacted the police but no longer had time to wait I will be taking this to Court if it is not properly settled with Target Guest Relations because I was accused of stealing , discriminated against , and my item was stolen by Target staff!!
It’s crazy because white individuals in target have no respect for black Americans they profile them...

MS J & Raphael Blake needs to be retrained and/or fired. ms j was very rude and disrespectful throughout the whole situation and tried to accuse me of switching out the airpods that look brand new because the serial number didn’t on the actual airpods themselves don’t match the serial number on the case. then when i spoke to mr blake he advised me that targets policy is that they can’t return opened items (completely different from what ms j or the store o bought them from said) i then proceeded to call Target customer service and the supervisor i spoke with johnay was very helpful and informed me that I was correct and opened airpods can be returned and that the serial number on the actual pods themselves don’t have to match the case. she then contacted target so i can return my airpods. this target location obviously has workers and managers who are not educated on the correct policies and procedures because there should be no reason as to why I had to do all that to be able to return my item when i literally read off the return policies to mr blake and he still refused to help me. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND I ADVISE OTHERS NOT TO AS WELL and i have recordings of johnay saying that the policy that raphael was reading...
