I’ve always had great experiences at the Kolache Factory on Katy – the whole staff is friendly, efficient, and welcoming. But I have to take a moment to highlight the exceptional service I received from Nathan.

During a recent visit, my go-to kolache flavor was sold out. Nathan didn’t just apologize and move on he went above and beyond. He took the time to suggest an alternative flavor, and his friendly, positive attitude made the whole interaction feel personal and thoughtful. Almost perfect, selection is slightly lacking at non-peak times, they could use more service training but all things considered (like the area, and the fact that this is half a fazolis that went out of business) they are doing fine, not great, but good. Not disappointed, but not impressed. Feels weird when they lock the door as soon as you leave. Gotta wait like 5 seconds so it doesn't seem so off-putting, the food was pretty good but almost too flavorful, how about some more "normal" options.
