I recently visited this establishment for the first time and decided to order a cup of hot tea. However, I was quite taken aback by the price tag attached to it, a hefty $6. Regrettably, what I received was nothing more than a cup of hot water and a standard tea bag. Needless to say, I was left feeling dissatisfied and somewhat cheated. The exorbitant cost of the tea was the main reason for my disappointment. I couldn't help but question why a simple cup of hot tea should come with such a steep price. Hoping for an explanation, I approached an employee to inquire about the matter. To my dismay, the response I received was far from satisfactory. The employee simply shrugged and said, "I just work here." Their dismissive attitude left me feeling unheard and unappreciated as a customer. I understand that this establishment is not known for its specialized espresso or intricate brewing techniques, but that should not justify such exorbitant pricing for a basic cup of tea. While ambiance and service may play a role in the overall experience, fair pricing is crucial in building customer loyalty and satisfaction. I urge the management of this establishment to seriously reconsider their pricing strategy, especially for something as simple as hot tea. Customers should feel that they are receiving value for their money, and sadly, that was not the case during my visit. Minuti Coffee has always been my favorite, and this location is no exception. It’s consistently nice and cozy, and they usually provide excellent service—except for today. I believe they may have changed the manager.

The manager brought up a rule that I had never heard of before. I’ve been using the Minuti Card since it was introduced. My usual routine is to reload $30 onto my card, get my free coffee, and then use the card to pay for the rest of my order. However, today, the manager told me that I couldn’t use my Minuti Card on the same day I reload it because, according to her, the system wouldn’t allow it.

I asked if this was a new rule because no one had ever mentioned it before. I even asked her to try processing it because I knew it would work—I’ve done it the same way for years. Sure enough, it worked, and I was able to pay with my Minuti Card immediately after reloading it. Despite this, she insisted that it’s a rule and that it worked “this time” but wouldn’t next time.

This policy doesn’t make sense to me. If it really is a rule, I would expect someone to have informed me before, which would have avoided today’s issue. Even if it is an actual rule, the way she explained it came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

I’m leaving this review because of her attitude. I truly love this location and hope they take steps to ensure experiences like this don’t ruin...
