The customer service was terrible, and the manager was so rude. There was a 40% off on MAC Love Me lipsticks, so I was going to purchase 3 lipsticks. When I got to the checkout, I was told they weren't on sale. The manager was inconvenienced that she had to go look for herself, but as she was walking away, she said the ones on the bottom shelf were on sale. I told her they that's where I got them, and I followed her back to the lipsticks. Then she said the sale did not apply to the lipsticks I selected. The sign did not specify which lipsticks were on sale, but it clearly read Love Me lipsticks, which is what I had selected. I asked for a manager, and she sarcastically said, "I am the manager. " I told her more than once that the sign clearly said Love Me lipsticks. She kept saying, "Yes, ma'am," but had her back turned towards me the entire time. I ended up purchasing 2 out of the 3 lipsticks. As I was paying, I asked for Corporate's phone #. The cashier Evelyn rudely said they didn't have that number. By this time, I was really upset, and I told her, "Well, somebody needs to find it!" She then asked the manager on her headphones for the number. The manager never walked back to the registers to show her where the number was. She was talking to her from where she was and telling her where the phone number was located, which was very unprofessional. Another girl who said she had just gotten there is the one who found the phone number and wrote it down. She is also the only one who was courteous enough to tell us bye as we were leaving. I told her, āno thank you!ā It was not even a minute later she sent another worker to ask me the same question. I got annoyed and told her that the manager just asked me the same question and I told her no! Then she replies, ā maāam I am just doing my job it is nothing personal!ā I ignored her but continued to select a few items and several more of the expensive facial products by Dermalogica. I later asked for an orange shopping bag to put my items in. Next, I walked to the perfume section and they sent another manager to FAKE assist. I noticed they were watching me the whole time. There actions and my observation made me feel uncomfortable like I was stealing or something. It was very off putting! The same manager who helped me in the perfume counter noticed that I was leaving and she said oh you can pay right here. She even offered to ring me up. Again, it felt very strange and unprofessional . When she was ringing me up she said that Dermalogica is expensive!! Like I could not afford the product. Her name on the receipt was Jude. I could not help to notice she had three broken finger nails that needed a refillš! I Do you want to put this on an Ultra card? Basically, she wanted me to apply for a credit card, and save money. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was informed that Ulta does hair in the store. I made an appointment two weeks ago and was wowād by Holly. She was great and does a really good job on Natural/transitioning hair. I only paid $55 which was the icing on the cake for me. So now I come back, as Iām in the bowl getting my hair washed Iām informed that the price was wrong the first time. Again, Holly does a great job. But still donāt have the exact amount until weāre done. The ticket today is for $99. Big difference. So Iāve already praised Ulta to my friends and family, now I experience this. Emilia (another stylist) adds by saying, yes you received a silk press. The ticket shows silk press/wrap&curl. I donāt have any curls in my hair. I know what a silk press is. So when I asked for names so I can be specific and clear on the review, Mahnoor (manager) walks up to me and doesnāt ask me anything, just starts speaking. Saying that the ticket was done wrong the last time and the salon called you to tell you about the difference so you were aware of the price before you started. Once she was done, I told her that NOBODY called me to discuss a price. And what kind of manager addresses a problem like that. She NEVER ask me what happened!
