Whataburger — Restaurant in Texas

I stopped by this morning to get my “free” BoB. I have never had one before and was feeling adventurous. Breakfast on a Bun, sign me up.  Thanks Whataburger, for the reward offer.  I had to buy a cup of coffee which was no big deal as I need coffee in the morning. I used the app this morning and then scheduled my pickup at 6:00.  I arrived at 6:05 and there was not one car in the drive through lane – let me repeat this for those that have never experienced this – there was not one car in the drive through lane! Crazy I know. I think I surprised everyone as it took some time to get everything ready.  By 6:15 I was pulling away will hot brew and a warm breakfast sandwich.  I drove for a minute but could not wait for the coffee, I needed it, IYKYK.  I pulled over and added the requested creamers. Let me tell you! That first sip took me back to when I was a kid!! Like back to the time when you took your first ever drink of coffee – and you made that horrible face and said out loud “Whoa, why would anyone want to drink this stuff?!”  Not one to give up easy, I tired a few more sips.  It was definitely not an acquired taste. I thought maybe I have been spoiled by the HEB Café Ole’ blends my F3 brothers provide after our free morning bootcamp workout.  I did not want to give up that easy so I took it home and added as much creamer as the cup would hold with the intent of not wasting my first Whataburger coffee.  Turns out I not only wasted the coffee but also the extra creamer I added.  Maybe it was a bad pot of coffee. I told this story to a friend of mine on my drive in to work and of course I made it sound much worse than it was.  Funny thing is my friend used the same reward offer and had the same experience with the coffee. This is one thing that Whataburger has completely missed on.  I will be back for the Patty Melts and Green Chile Cheeseburgers when they have them but will steer clear...

I would give a zero star rating if possible. After working a 12 hrs shift last night, I stopped on my way home for dinner for me and my better half. I ordered 2 #1 combos, both with mayo, lettuce , cheese and grilled onions and dr.pepper for the drinks. I was only person in drive up, then someone pulls up behind me, they ask me to pull forward because the guy behind me only ordered a shake... so i do... 20 mins later i still have no food... so i go inside only to find out my order has been sitting there!! I get all the way home (20 min drive) to find out that not only are my drinks filled half way but , I have raw onions on both the burgers, and as my better half bites into the burger on the second bite there is a big piece of plastic in her burger. So I paid $20 for poor service, cold food, wrong food and PLASTIC in the food. I called the store the next day(today)... spoke to manager ( jeremy) to be told oh I am so sorry, what do you want a refund or order remade. I asked if he wanted my order # or time off my receipt so he could look into it and he stated no that he didn't need it. What!! It just really shows what type of management is running the place and why this location is a pathetic local that gives whataburger a bad name. I will never spend another dime here!! There are other option around that will respect a person spending money on their product. Give us a zero rating...

Tried to order breakfast and burgers. Our order never came out, after several people got theirs and they ordered after us. So I go and check, my order number isn't on the screen. I ask for refund from manager, the guys states, oh the order is right here. So I look at the prep line and it's all burgers, we only order one burger.

So the manger just lie to me and then asked for a refund, he trys to tell me it will be right out.. I told him just give me a refund, he looks at the female manager for permission and finally gives me a refund. Sorry 1 start for specific Whataburger location, not for the company as a whole . Be mindful when doing business here.

Update 5-20-23, thought I give Chicago's Whataburger another try... man it's just worse, talk about no to terrible super duper and super super super super slow service. over 30 mins for 2 breakfast meals. Sad and super Sad. DO NOT DO NOT come here unless you have a good hour or more to kill doing nothing but watch people around whataburger, not people eating but just waiting just like the rest...
