An Amazing Movie Theater Experience!

I recently booked a birthday event at this movie theater (Sonic the Hedgehog 3) and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, the process was smooth and hassle-free. The booking team (Brooklyn- event coordinator) was incredibly helpful making sure every detail was taken care of. She was prompt with all our communications and made my booking process seamless!

After I made my booking deposit on site, she even gave me a tour of the auditorium where our chosen movie would be shown, as well as a small separate room equipped with tables, chairs, and a sink. The space was perfect for decorating and cutting the birthday cake, making it a convenient spot to sing happy birthday and playing trivia games after the kids enjoyed their movie!

I was deciding between booking with XScape or Star Cinema Grill (Richmond). However, after multiple attempts to contact Star Cinema Grill, it took them weeks to respond, and their lack of organization and customer service was disappointing. Their auditorium booking required a higher deposit and came with a high food and beverage minimum. Additionally, they did not allow a cake for the event and did not offer a separate room for it. Hosting a birthday celebration without a cake simply wasn’t an option for me. While cost wasn’t my primary concern, their delayed responses and poor service ultimately led me to choose XScape and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

The theater itself was clean, comfortable, and had top-notch sound and picture quality. They had oversized recliner chairs that were incredibly comfortable! We felt warm and cozy like watching a movie from the comfort of home, but with the added bonus of a big screen and immersive sound quality!

A huge shout-out again to Brooklyn and Luis for their exceptional service! They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our event special. Whether it was helping with seating, concessions, or last-minute requests, they took care of everything with a smile, never complained, and always showed genuine kindness. Thank you for making our event one of the most memorable experiences! Your outstanding service made all the difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

As a longtime loyal customer of Star Cinema (Richmond), I’m thrilled to be making the switch to XScape after this amazing experience. With better pricing, exceptional service, and the same comfortable recliner chairs, the choice was an easy one!

If you’re looking for a great place to host a private movie event, I highly recommend XScape! All the kids including adults had so much fun! My family and I have been talking and already planning to book our next birthday event for our kids! We’ll definitely be back for another...

This movie theater in Katy serves a purpose and fulfills it quite well. I came to this movie theater to watch Fall Guy will my friends and overall the experience on the giant movie screen (I'm not sure what it's called) was amazing and so was the sound quality. I've also come here for a birthday party and being able to rent a movie theater (again not sure what the term for this is) was great although it was on the smaller side. When i came here with my friends we attempted to bring a 2 liter soda bottle of Mountain Dew through the back of out shirt and we would have gotten it through if it wasn't for our other friend who snitched on me and my friend who were trying to hide the soda (totally inconspicuously) by walking with our backs together which caused us to get the soda taken up from us. The staff was nice about it, until my friend started to be snarky about giving the soda to where they told us we wouldn't be able to get in unless we gave them the soda, but after the movie they gave the soda back to us which is the only reason I took a star off of my review because I would've loved to drink the mountain dew. (I never got to drink the soda after the movie because the friend who snitched got the staff to give back the soda to him before I could and he exploded it in the parking lot) Also, if your still reading this the staff that took our soda away (who was super chill about it) told us that they never check the bags you bring in so if you want to bring snacks just put them...

Drove all the way from Sugarland to this NEW movie theater. I was super excited because I had read that the seats recline and that it was a nice movie theater. We went here to see Alladin bought our tickets for the 9:30 showing and go into the movie theater at 9:20. NO ONE had been inside to clean it from the last movie. We walk into popcorn all over the floor. No one had swept the floors up. We had purchased seats in row G where there were used napkins in the seat, Empty candy boxes on the floor, split popcorn on the seats and on the floor, it was gross. So we all walk out of the theater and my husband proceeds to inform the employees of the dirty theater while 5 employed were just standing around talking and not working. You would have thought it was a teenager hangout not a place of employment for the employees. One sweet employee final walked over with a broom and said he would clean it. They then come by to ask us where we are sitting so they can just clean out section!!! UMMMM HELLO THE ENTIRE PLACE needed to be cleaned not just our three seats! At one point I even had to go to the restroom and even that was GROSS. The restroom stank, Toilet paper everywhere, dirty sinks, and no paper towels to use to dry your hands. The entry was clean and so was the concessions stand so that was why I gave them 2 stars!! If I didn’t want to see the movie so bad I would have walked out!!
